No Christmas spirit and terrible acting. The character Jack Frost ruined the movie!!!! Was this review helpful? This movie is great for anyone regardless of age.
I mean seriously, have you all forgotten the purpose of Disney? It not supposed to be a super spectactular film. Its supposed to be cute and cheesy whit some type of underlying lesson.

The magic was not there. Was this review helpful? Frost hits Santa in the head with a shovel, which is violent enough for Mrs. Whatshername to block Vinny and the watchbearer from her kids in the commercial for parental controls. I didnt expect that in a G movie although it was in the trailer. There was another part that my 3 year old said he was scared and had to sit in my lap, although I cant recall exactly which, it had something to do with Frosts clear campaign of terrorism and sabotage.
So, my criticism however is on the costuming of Mrs. Clause. She wears nothing but sweaters, robes, and clothes that give her body extra warmth but actually leave exposed her belly in a thin shirt in all but 1 or 2 scenes. This is actually extremely dangerous for pregnant women to do in cold weather which is well known from past research and advised by every OB Ive had! I cant believe Disney would be so irresponsible and poorly researched.
Though admittedly, it is refreshing to see a pregnant woman portrayed as beautiful, fashionable, and attractive, but to not insulate your belly, no matter how chic and fashionable your attire, is very dangerous for a fetus in extreme cold and a style that should not be glamourized. Maybe a minor criticism but it did bother me! Was this review helpful? WRONG. The uneasiness of just getting through the credits should have been warning enough to get up and sneak into Happy Feet or The Nativity Story, but that might get me onto Santas Naughty List.
Read elsewhere the poor thread of a plot. Basically it boiled down to too many poorly setup storylines too few gags and jokes and, the feeling that the head elf from the last two movies knew better than to get involved with this one. By the way, they never address what happened to Bernard, just that his post was filled in the not too distant past. Kind of creepy. At least he could have retired or went towork for Keebler.
If you have small children, not doubt they will be entertained, but I recommend tossing back some spiked nog before watching it with them. Or maybe just pick them up after the movie is over. A good movie for kids. I will say though, for someone who thought there shouldnt have been a number 2, let alone number 3, it wasnt all that bad. Martin Short was funny, as was Tim Allen. So, if you feel like getting in the Christmas Spirit, or youre a die hard Tim Allen fan, go see it. Was this review helpful? I believe most of the bad reviews on here is from immature teenagers or spammers that dont have nothing better to do. My family and I went to see this movie and it is wonderful. We give it five stars.
It is not a violent movie like one person said it was. If it was violent I wouldnt take my kids. There is nothing wrong with Santa Clause 3. Some of you that come on here that gave it a bad review needs to grow up. Was this review helpful? If the crtics dont like a movie I always love the movie. If the critics like the movie, I usually dont even bother to go see it because I know I will not like it. I went to see Santa Clause 3 and indeed I loved it. I thought it was excellent. I think Tim Allen did a wonderful job and no one could have been any better then Martin Short in the roll he played. Excellent! I think you have to enjoy life to enjoy fantancy. Was this review helpful? Upon its opening I took my grandkids that are 2, 4, and 6 with their parents-----wow----it held their interest all the way. They were hypnotized by this charming movie about Santa Clause. The plot was excellent with a great what if....inserted, and a good message-- of the story. We were all entertained by this magnificent movie! Was this review helpful? Ann-Margaret is worth seeing this alone, she is gorgeous and magnificent. If you like these movies, then dont miss this, tugs at your inner child film Was this review helpful? I was sadden to see it turn out to be just another sequel with no interesting things to see. My kids enjoyed the funny few parts 8 and 4, but as adults we were bored compared to the previous two which had all laughingl. It is not a movie I would buy or see again..
I agree with the David German, Allen looked tired and not into the movie at all. Martin Short as anoying as always..
It seemed sad and frustrating for us folks away from our own families. Was this review helpful? Sign In | ||
