At first I was drawn in by the whole time warp back to the days of Farah hair and LP's. It did bring back memories and a warm, wish I had my old turntable back feeling. Unfortunately, the bad acting and the crude and often pointless behavior did nothing to keep my interest. Dakota Fanning can act...but was wasted in this film. Kristen Stewart can do two things...look dumb and then...look even dumber. She can not act. Her monotone line deliver is sad and, by now, someone should have put a little more effort into to teaching to actually use her vocals to reflect emotion. Boring. They took about an hour of my time and that was it. Not even worthy of a Redbox recommendation Was this review helpful?
