After testing and observation, the old man makes some improvements to the Hughes brainchild enabling Cliff to help turn the fate of America away from those who seek to curtail Democracy. This is a wonderful romp in the 30's set to the tone of the old Republic serials i.e. Rocketman and Commander Cody with some spectacular assistance from the Director's old stomping ground, ILM. This effort was followed by the sleeper success 'Honey, I Shrunk The Kids'. The spirit of Sci-Fi lives on! Howard Hughes: Terry O'Quinn Lothor: Tiny Ron Monk:Clint Howard Was this review helpful?
