Not only was he a wonderful actor but his ability to bring you into the moment was highly resolved. I, and many others, will always love his work. Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne always had a special connection on the screen. That was a quality that reeled us all in. Was this review helpful? Remembered the grocery van coming once every fortnight and being given one penny chew on that day and sitting on a hay stack savouring the taste of a town miles away. Now as a priest, I am constantly called home in my dreams as a child, smell turf, new mown hay, the Craich, the music and the old ones now dead and gone. The American or we called him the Yank, came to our thatched cottage and left my Mam a gold $20..I have it today....God only knows where the time goes...I winder if that coin is worth anything now? it would be put to better use if someone really wanted it and I could get some money to build a shed for the ones still at home...Go mbeirimid beo ag ar am seo aris agus go braith

michaeldungloe@hotmail.co m Was this review helpful?
