After stumbling upon Run Lola Run (and loving it) and then wading through two awful American films starring Franka Potenta (Bourne Identity and All I Want-not her fault, just poor use of her talents) I was thrilled to find this film. The magic of this director and his star actress is very unique. Another edge of your seat thriller type mixed with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Gotta see this one!

Tom Tykwer's "Run Lola Run" was good ... "Princess and the Warrior" is almost flawless. Less popular than the more accessibly kinetic "Lola," this film carries itself with considerably greater finesse and subtlety. It also has a Kieslowski-esque fascination with elliptical storytelling. The characters are locked in an intersecting puzzle that unravels with breathtaking sophistication. The emotions they feel are raw. Tykwer couldn't have made a movie that was more complimentary to "Lola," while at the same time surpassing it, than "Princess and the Warrior."
