I watched on my way to Los Angeles from Auckland- it had the plane laughing! I would definetly encourage all ages, to go and watch this movie! You wont be dissappointed!

Yes, its all due to Steve Martin and his comedic genius as an actor, but so what? Hes in almost every scene, and were kidding ourselves if we thought for a second we were watching The Pink Panther for its plot.
Scenes like the learning-american-dialect and airport-terrorist-arrest ones are laugh-out-loud funny, which is difficult to achieve with such slapstick movies. Also, all the actors are first-class, making each scene enjoyable. Despite claims that the good actors were wasted as they werent prominent enough in this movie, I think they all achieved what they aimed to - letting Steve Martin be funny. If you want to see more of Beyonce, just rent a dvd of her music! This dvds about Martin.
Dont listen to the bad reviews on this one... analysing things too much just ruins the fun. Enjoy this silly and cartoonish movie for what it is pure hilarity. Was this review helpful? If any critic disagrees than they deserve to loose their job becoz obviously they have no idea. Steve Martin played the part really well and trust me m8 i would know becoz soon im gonna be a film critic. SECRET tip for those who dont know anything about movies and gave this a bad rating well i have a secret tip for u guys. This will win the Oscars and most definately the grammys. I had to say, the story was slightley corny, but Inspector Clouseaus attempt to say hamburger just made up for that. The punctuation (for those too stupid to see, thats the periods and commas or in your case lack there of,) and spelling, and capitalization is not uncommon to see in a preschool. What do you say about a movie with such high expectactions, such a great pedigre, that so totally dissappoints? I laughed once during the movie... Literally, one joke was funny, catching me off guard. All the others were utterly predictable and delivered poorly... I am normally a fan of Steve Martin, but I thought his performance was a poor imititation of someone doing a poor imitation of a French of someone doing a French accent. This was the first movie in a long time that I actually thought about leaving. If I had not had my 12 year old son with me, I would have... Do not waste your time... Was this review helpful?
