Apart from those worthy functions, The Outsider is also shrewdly made, illuminating its subject in a variety of settings and, at times, subtly assuming the style of Tobacks films. And Jarecki has produced more of a Friars Club roast than a document, with the negative aspects of the subject made funny, and the positive inflated. Was this review helpful?
