The director was fabulous.. Amazing story line, great chill factor, jumps and scares it had it all!!!!
Ok seriously if you didn't like this movie becasue it has subtitles, you have a serious problem.. what's wrong with reading what they are saying, you totally forget about it during the movie, it was PERFECT!!! one of my favorite horror movies EVER!!! You can't watch the movie, your to busy reading, there was another movie that was in another language with english subs. can't remember the name of it, it also was suppose to be realy good. The acting by Belen Rueda is good in all the movie. The elements of a good story, sound and acting come together. If you like suspense movies you will like "The orphanage". Was this review helpful? Sign In 4 out of 4 users found this helpful Beautiful and TragicPosted: 1/11/2008A review of The Orphanage by spud29578 I went to this expecting something along the lines of the Changling or the Haunting which I did jump several times but the story is so well told that the scares took a back seat. I'm not going to say anything about the story and ruin anything but the whole thing worked so well and the ending. lets just say it's the saddest movie I've ever seen. It's subtitled so expect it.
