This is the true and pure love that everyone should expeience. It is my hope to have this. I guess the one who this would be with for me... maybe just doesn't know the depth of how much I care for her. We've been there. I just need her to come back.

He can tell a story and become the character. Loved Rockford Files, Maverick, etc. The combination of characters and actors in Notebook is superb. There is a strange familiar feel to this movie that anyone could relate to at one point or another.. This is definitely one of the most beautiful love stories of modern times that Ive seen.. I watch it everytime its on and find something that I didnt catch the last time I saw it.. The actors and actresses in this movie are down to Earth and truly believeable.. this love story is the EXACT story of my grandparents life, except for the fact that my grandparents havent died yet.my grandparents were in high school and were truly in love. My grandpa however had signed up for the war and had to leave. While he was off fighting, my grandmother hadnt heard from him and didnt think she would ever see him again. She became engaged to a good looking rich boy. My grandfather came back from war and my grandma
broke up with her fiance and married my grandpa. Now my grandparents live together in a big white house with blue shutters. My grandmother is facing a hard time with memory and will soon have to be admitted to a nursing home, and my grandpa has had his share of medical problems with his heart( he now has a pace maker) and an ulser. Its a romantic love story and I suggest watching this movie if you dont believe in true love. It is the perfect example of it.

Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful touched my heartPosted: 8/14/2006A review of The Notebook by Anonymous i watched this movie while i was on a plane flight back to the philippines.. at first all i wanted to do was sleep for the duration of the 3hour flight.. but this movie caught my attention, and i couldnt even blink long enough.. it made me cry, i secretly wiped my tears of course, though i also saw other passengers teary eyed.. it is a great movie, deep, heavy, and yet your heart will speak for it.. rachel is a great actress, she should be seen in more movies.. ryan is also perfect for the role.. they both lighted up the screen! i am going to buy a dvd version of this movie.. i am excited to watch it again soon...
