This movie shows us why we all love baseball so much. After watching the movie, you'll feel like u want to be Roy Hobbs. Baseball has always been my first love, and it will remain because of this film. And one last thing that makes this movie great, is the musical score by Randy Newman. This film is must own for everybody in this world who loves baseball and what it means to them. Was this review helpful? That bad eh? Have you tried preparation H? DAMN and they still flare up..? Well I say let God worry about those little problems, and you should probably rent this movie. An aging Robert Redford plays a Pitcher, no wait he plays one of those guys who hits the ball. Either way this movie must be good because The Simpsons ripped off this movie to make an episode, the one where homer plays softball...and ozzie smith falls into a bottomless pit.
