Aside from the many ";one-hit-wonders";, in the cast; a reliable assemblage of character players such as George Zucco, Wallace Ford and Cecil Kelloway, make this an enjoyable romp and a tribute to the Laemmle years featuring footage from the original. It seems after the demise of Imhotep and Ahnksenamen, the preists of Carnac devoted their cause to Princess Anahnka and her faithful priest, Kharis. Same general storyline, except that the priest keeps the mummified zombie of Kharis active with tana leaves so that he may be an evil pawn for terror and murder; until they mess with Babe and ";Poopsie";.
