Carrie-Anne...Keanu...and Laurence are the best actors ever... I wish to meet them sometime! That is one of my dreams. My other dream is to become and actress just like Carrie-Anne. This one was real good. But if you want to watch it you really got to pay attintion otherwise you might not like any of them. To me I liked the 3rd one best then this one and realoded last but realoded was still good. I am now a matrix fan and might get all of them on dvd. Was this review helpful? So I went home and watched it again, and after 5 years, this movie still blows my mind! The plot is so original its not even funny, if you can come up with something better than people living in a computer program, then congrats, give yourself a cookie, I don't care. The special effects make Star Wars look like a puppet shows animals. The music is so good that it has been put into tons of different movies and TV shows. The actors and actresses are great, they had to do kung-fu for months and did they're own stunts, how many actors do that? The action sceens are what realy got me though, seeing Neo amazed at his own strength while kicking Smiths but was hillarious! The lobby scene was sooooo good that it should be a game by itself! Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful THE TRUTH WAS TOLDPosted: 7/20/2004A review of The Matrix by Anonymous The first time I saw the movie, I thought to myself that this was a very good action pack movie, with great special effects & like most men, I just looked at the action and did not listen to what was is being said nor did I get the very powerful message that was being delivered through the movie. I continued to look only at the action in the next 2 sequels and still did not get the message that was being delivered, until I gave myself to God and changed my life. After I did this life changing event, I watched the the sequel again like I often did, but this time I got the powerful message from the very begining of the First Matrix. If anybody is reading this and does not know what the real story of the Matrix is, it's about JESUS! The One who came to save us, but had to die to do this. If you didn't get the meaning of the movie, I strongly urge you to watch & listen to the sequel again and receive the message that this powerful sequel delivers. THE SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE UNBELIEVEABLE, IT MAKES YOU WONDER HOW DID THEY MAKE IT LOOK SO REALISTIC, I MEAN, IF YOU WERE A FOOL AND DON'T KNOW THAT SOME OF THE TRICKS THAT THEY DO IN THE MATRIX ARE COMPUTER GRAPHIC IMAGES AND YOU THINK THAT PEOPLE COULD DO STUFF LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE, YOU WOULD THINK IT IS REAL. The Matrix has many fight scenes and mysteries thrown in. It is a movie about an unreal world that certain people can enter and when jacked-in the matrix, appear much more powerful. Introducing smaller actors such as Carrie-Anne Moss was a great idea, she really prooved herself as a beautiful and great actress. Hugo Weaving, terribly humerous throughout the film in a very clever way. Laurence Fishburne truly magnificent as ever. Last and certainly not least! Keanu Reeves, that man really blows me away, occasionally his actor can blip but lately, especially in The Matrix, he was astonishing! He's such a beautiful looking man, those eyes!!
