I thought it was good. My sister cried in the end because she was so happy how it turned out. Of coarse it was sad in the one part, but overall, I would recommend it... Was this review helpful? Nickolas Sparks is a wonderful writer, he movies have become the most watched. For me, the Lucky One, could have been a little different. I really dont think Zac Efron really got the character, and to be completely honest, I dont think he can play a very romantic guy.
I really dont think, this movie is going to be one of those movies that everyone will want to watch over and over again!!!! Think about The Notebook!!!! Everyone wants to rewatch that movie over and over again!!!! The book was great, but I my Opinon, not the movie!!! Was this review helpful? romantic novel. The Louisiana backdrop was lush, peaceful, and
beautiful. The story moved slowly--steadily like savoring a rich
chocolate. The actors were believable and pleasant to watch
(except for the chip-on-his-own shoulder ex-husband who is
redeemed in the end). It was a great way to dream away
