Professor Challenger has returned from his Amazonian expedition with startling discoveries of a pre-historic plateau cut off from the jungle by a gaping butte and rising some 300 ft. in the air; containing amphibious wildlife not seen on this earth since the Stone Age. He immediately sets off again with a documenting expedition, and brings back an amazing phenomenon. This was a first-of-its-kind effort featuring stop-motion animation by a talented Willis O'Brien who went on to do King Kong. Not since Winsor McKay was such a break-through in cinema accomplished. The ultimate SFX pre-cursor. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page | ||
