Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels were the heros of the time as it protrayed how a white man and Indian could fight lawless criminals together. The first show mastered the passion Tonto had to help a Texas Ranger stay alive and become the LONE Ranger Who fights the lawless socieity of the West with his fiend and partner, Tonto beside him.
