Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  A Movie About HeartPosted: 5/4/2008A review of The Life Before Her Eyes by FallsChurchMovieBuff Evan Rachel Wood and Uma Thurman combine their considerable acting talents to create one of the most wrenchingly poignant portraits of a life unlived -- and of the unknowable capacity for love within a human heart -- that I have ever seen. I can count on one hand the times that a movie ending has reduced me to silent shoulder-shaking sobs and tears streaming down my cheeks. Everything about this film was carefully and powerfully arranged to completely chop us off at the knees in the last few minutes. By the way, reviewer Jason Buchanan's synopsis makes me wonder if he left before the final scene or if I saw an "alternative ending" version from the one he reviewed! This movie is a must-see for anyone with a heart and at last two hankies. Was this review helpful?
