I have watched a lot of movies in my life, and this movie is in my opinion is one of the best movie's I have ever seen. The reason I enjoyed this movie so much is because I will be Thirty years old this year and It really hit home to me. I related to this movie on a deeper level because I'm currently there right now in my life.

Just like so many other people, I put this DVD in thinking that it was gonna be a romantic comedy. It wasn't, but I was nowhere near disappointed in that. This movie is deep and I don't think that a lot of the crowd that it attracts are ready for the content of it. But this movie was excellent; I'm not a big fan of Zach Braff but his performance was good. I have to admit though, the powerhouse performances were definitely from Jacinda Barrett (the pregnant girlfriend) and Blythe Danner (The Mother-Oscar Worthy!). Don't walk in thinking this is a comedy, you might be disappointed, but if you're looking for TRUTH and hard-core REALITY about relationships, this is it. I only give it a 4 because that ending wouldn't have happened in my world.

You know, I find Zack Braff extremely annoying, but I loved everyone else in this movie. Blythe Danner i think is OSCAR-worthy in this film and Rachel Bilson (The O.C.) is a knock out and does her role with style and alot of talent. People are sayign this film is just another dumb romantic movie btu I happend to find it very entertaining and true. I will say, its not as good as I hoped but the strong performances, the screenplay and the script make this film very good. I give it a B.

This movie is just one of those that has all the earmarks of a wonderful movie...from direction, to screenplay, to talent. I REALLY wanted to love this film, but in the end just felt a little blah. I had no real sympathy for these characters, when most of the stories are based on very real situations facing my generation...the 30ish crowd. I could easily relate, but I just found no point to it all. Danner and Wilkinsons marriage is, what I would think, the prime example of how tough a marriage can be to hold together, even after 30 years. I kept waiting for some pearls of wisdom from these two, but it never really flourished. This became a trend as you are introduced to these characters, and little is explained as to their past or present circumstances. Rachel Bilsons character just left even less hope for the 20-something generation, as I found her character annoying, uncharismatic, compulsive (not in a good way), and lacking. No new ground found here. Looking for a great guy-finding-himself movie? Try Garden State.

At first i thought this movie was just another movie with sex in almost every scene but as i continued to wathc it i got more and more intrested. The fight they have is totally believable and just how a fight about that matter works. It had a couple of funny parts and a couple of sad parts but i wasent so happy at the end because i wouldve done the opposite. This movie shows that true love can still go on whether you want it to or not and to stay truthful.

this movie is the perfect movie for men about to embark on life changing events. Most men feel the same way the main character has felt about fatherhood, marriage, and growing up! Not a great movie, but I definately could relate!

The Last Kiss is a DRAMA! Thats what we call movies about serious subjects. especially when all of the interchange between characters is real, sad and brutal at times. When making a drama it is always a good idea to add in a little comic relief. But in doing so, the creators did not turn this into a COMEDY by any stretch of the imagination. That said, it was an O.K. movie. A little depressing... but I think I found it to be so because I was expecting a comedy. The movie reminded me a little of St. Elmos Fire, tragic twenty-somethings... screwing up their lives. If you are in the mood for this type of movie, you might like The Last Kiss.

I really enjoyed this movie--like another review stated, I continued to muse for quite a while about the story and all the sub-stories composing this movie. I do not see it as a slam to men--just a story of what happens when one feels fear--the varieties of fear portrayed by the characters left options for everyone to read something into the story--It was well worth the money.

I thought this movie was great. I am a 46 year old female who has been married for 25 years. This movie really hit home for me.I can remember feeling overwhelmed when my children were babies just like the young woman with the baby, she felt as if all the burden was on her alone. I can also really relate to the older woman who is re-thinking her life now, and wanting to still be loved and noticed by her husband. Any woman that has been married that long can probably relate. The movie really made me think , but also made me appreciate what I have.

This movie really made me think for a while after it was over. I think it is very realalistic and it hit very close to home for me. I am in my mid-twenties and going through a divorce. I would definatley want you to know before hand that if you are just recently comeing out of a painful relationship that this will maybe hit close to home for you in one way or another. But even if you arent comeing out of a relationship now I think everyone can identify with this movie. It has some great life lessons!! There is quite a bit of nudity though which I think they could have got their point across without showing so much.

If you only paid attention to the main story line, you missed a lot. The side lines are strong and very good too. All the relationships of those young folks and even Genas parents lead you to think. They are realistic and educational. The scripts are interesting and deep. We should watch this movie with a mature mind. It tells you how to love a person right and handle a relationship right.

I went to see this movie with my wife for a night out. I thought the movie was very interesting bring to light bad behaviors on both part of men and women. It did show that men in there late 20 early 30s do have feelings and sometimes are confused in which step to take when life changing situations. Mistakes are made in life and we all need to grown from the mistakes, is the feeling I walk away with. Very good acting by all.

I initailly became interrested in this movie because I thought it would be a romantic comedy. It turns out that this film shows realistic views of relationship turmoil at various levels. It illustrates the side of love that can proove to be very painfull at times. I think after realizing the type of theme the movie had , and then actually relating to the pressures and sometimes painfull areas of love - I actually did enjoy the movie. A viewer must accept that this is more of a sad movie, showing crisis and moving through crisis to repair. You could enjoy this movie and maybe take something from it. Maybe you would simply just identify with it. I think allot of times people preconceive what they think a movie will be. They assume the theme, comedy level ( if any) and the actual plot line. If they are wrong about what the movie is , or the plot turned out to be not at all what they expected, they feel betrayed and become angry at the movie it self. I dont feel this a good way to look at a movie. All though people are people, I like to come with an open mind and once I see which way the film is going, I try to see the story line from what the director was try to convey. So please go and see theis movie. But just know ahead of time if you were in a releationship, this will stir up some old sour fellings that you may not want to feel. But in then end, it may make you leave the film with some perspective on those relationships and any going forward. That relationships are a 24 hr job. They require work and they are not easy, but can be very rewarding. Love has many sides, and happiness is only just one side of love. The cast seemed to portrayed their characters well and again would recommend this movie if you feel that you are up to this subject matter.
