This film is a true piece of work. Great action (though the roof jump could be captured on film better), good laughs ("You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"), great cars (an Aston Martin, Jaguars, Mini Coopers), an excellent music score by Quincy Jones and Don Black, and one of the best endings ever. Its good to see a film from a time when car stunts were real and not CG-laced. It also shows that a film can have alot going on and retain a PG rating. I recommend this film highly. Well acted by Michael Caine. While the effects are not as many explosions are there are today, they have a certain style and are equally thrilling, just in a different way. The stunt driving with the minis is the best. And they are the classic minis, not the new ones that everyone and their mom are buying now. It has an awesome plot and has laughs as well. I would definatly rent it!!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-3 of 3 Per Page | ||
