She had an ineffable worry about their marriage, their relationship, and her husband's safety. Her two oldest children accompanied her to the island on which Bob was being held captive, and they made a bivouac for one night, until they could find a way to help Bob. Helen left her two children in the bivouac as she searched for Bob, but they had to leave because it became dangerous. As they explored the forest they came across a bird that started to make anything but a canorous noise. As they got closer they realized it was a machine, a security system in disguise. They, in an almost jocund way, seriatim fought guards that came to exterminate them, until they were finally met with a vociferous outcry from their parents. They came upon the boss, Syndrom. In a contumely he cought them and talked through the situation. They were taken captive as he went to become the world's next greatest superhero, and then they foiled his plans. I've used all 50 words now. Thank you for putting up with this annoyance. I hope you had fun trying to infer the meanings of these crazy words. Enjoy the movie if you haven't watched it. Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is a retired superhero who has tried to be "normal" for fifteen years and is constantly itching to get back to work. He is the perfect "good guy;" kind and charitable to those in need, yet strong enough to defeat the bad. The filmmakers make it so that all of his actions reflect his personality in some way. When he reads the newspaper at the table, he is trying to fulfill his need to go looking for trouble and fix the issues, only now, he is only making the temptation to resume herowork grow by finding the problems but not being able to fix them.
Helen Parr (Elastigirl) is the wife truly trying to give her family the normal life. She wants to get settled and tries to get Bob to stop trying to be Mr. Incredible, which causes them to have to move all the time. Holly Hunter's unique voice really fits Helen's appearance and personality.
Syndrome is a new superhero and the Parrs' new nemesis, bitter over what happened years ago (he ran a Mr. Incredible fan club but Bob wouldn't let the Mr. Incredible's-assistant-wannabe be his partner).
Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack are the Parr-lings. Violet can turn invisible and create protective fields. Dash is super fast and Jack-Jack is the baby with no apparent powers.
Edna Mode is the fashion designer, favorite character to most, who has the biggest personality, despite her small size. She designs the Parrs' outfits specially fitted for their powers.
Other characters include Kari (Jack-Jack's talkative babysitter; love her voice), Frozone (Bob's longtime friend and fellow superhero), and Mirage (Syndrome's right-hand woman who eventually helps the Parrs).
The Incredibles is a great film (again, a little corny in sad parts) that I would definitely recommend to any movie-freak. Was this review helpful? I just wrote a bad review for closer, so I figured that I should right a good review. This movie had a good story line, was not predictable, and kept me interested the whole time.
