Washington plays Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, a boxing figure shunned by friends and framed for something he had no involvement with. in this case it is wrong, that "an innocent man should go to jail and a guilty man go free". Carter feels let down, for years, until he realizes the true friends who support him. They try desperately to plea and beg his case over and over again.
"Proof is in the pudding",goes the saying. An old surveillance tape reveals the hard facts and exhonerates our famed athlete. Today a man is innocent, until proven "guilty beyond suspicion and reasonable Doubt". I feel this film would be a lesson, how our Legal system should work. Washington gives a super performance, and I say Bravo Denzel! Was this review helpful? Denzel Washington played a awesome roll as Rubin ";Hurricane"; Carter. I think it is a great movie to show to children to let them see the twisted world we live in ,and also let them see how people will Stab you in the back for anything. I loved the movie!
