sammy6 is an samll minded a**. since when did reviewing a movie turn into a time to make racist comments that have nothing to do with the movie what a fool. It is sad that in todays there are stil those crazies that have to base everything on race and can't just say the movie %&*^ed but they have to say it %&*^ed because someone is white or black. how ridiculous is that...???

All cultural references aside...this was like casting Dick Van Dyke to play Fred Sanford. What the hell were they thinking?

Matching Hats, beards, and big boots. What more could you ask for? You see, I didn't think this moive was gonna be a huge hit. But then I gave it a chance. The lead roles: Potslakotsa , Steve McGee, Johnny Surbabonnee, Mr. Godigo, and my personal favorite: Dargagagagaraga. Splendid job my good fellows. The movie was about a guy and his wife. The wife's like, "let's go on a hummy moon." She said it all sweet like so that he would be like, "Aw baby, come in my arms and let's have a hummy moon." ("Hummy" is like a sweeter way to say honey if you haven't caught on. It's unusual, but very normal, for couples to play with words. You might see someone use the word dog in such a form as :Doggy woggy Peter Pants" as she or he talks to her spouse. I can't explain it all, though) But the husband had different plans. And his plans were: to take o'er the world. The wife despised this idea and told her husband that if she didn't get a honey moon this instant, then the whole things off. She said, "If you don't get your lazy pattoooza off of that couch and if you don't stop watchin that football game, you can just say good bye to your mother-in-law." What the wife didn't know was that she was not her husbands mother in law, but her husbands wife. You see, his wife wasn't that...how do you say...bright. So the whole thing worked out in the end. The husband got turned off the couch and stopped laying on the football game and started looking at the more important things in life. Like his wife, for instance. He took her in his arms and said, "Girl, you got the face of Princess Jasmine in Alladin and the Return of Jaffar." The woman was flattered, and almost in an instant, she recovered from her...confused and utterly absurd state of mind. As for me, Mack Mcgrack, I have to go to the well to fatch that pail of water. And bring it back to the woman of my dreams: Ruth...I'm still looking for you. Be dear! Come back to me. From your loving lover of lovers, Mack Mcgrack

Momma always told me that if I did not have anything good to say then to not say anything at all. I think I will respect her wishes on this waste of film.

It is sad to see such a great and classic tv show like the Honeymooners get trashed just for the sake of making money from the other side of the track. I am so fed up with "man you's better make that movie or we'll all holler whitey's keepen the poor ni**er down". The wild wild west also comes to mind. You people should learn and know better by now that "ya all" should make your own original black crap and stop trying to ni**erize the truly great (and better) white classics!

The thearter clips have me concerned that "they" missed the target with this one, again. My wife and I will see the "Honneymooners" this week and I hope to have a better feeling about the movie than I do now. It should be understood that you cannot add apples and oranges. Neither can you compare the proformances of contemporary actors with those of the past. This is Honeymooners the movie not the Television show. The historic events of one era produced a mind-set far different from that of today. Humor today that is allowed into our homes was once found in Burlesque and other sources of pedestrian entertainment, while the original Honeymooners was more reserved and attentive to the needs of a family audience. I'm hoping this Honeymooners will compliment the original and respect itself with wit and imagination. Please ignore the star they made me do it.

This movie will only be enjoyed by those that did not see the original series with Jackie Gleason and company. There is no comparison to the humor and character development of the old series. Cedric is a funny guy but he is no Gleason. They should have left it alone or called it something else.

In response to the remark of one "irrate" b*tch - actually not sure what type of b*tch she is since she can't spell IRATE - but it seems the only reason she's so grossly bothered by the remake of the great series is because the 2005 cast may not be the same "shade" as the original all white cast...a sad, pathetic and IGNORANT reason not to see this movie. Don't let ignorance fool you, give this movie a chance and you should be pleasantly surprised!

Just who do these people think they are?! NO ONE could ever replace Jackie Gleason.....NO ONE!!!! I know this movie isn't even out yet ....at least where I live and you know, I have no desire of seeing this cheap remake of a great, legendary show.....Cedric has got a huge part to fill and honestly, there's no way he can do it.

Hey "Honey" the only way I'd be interested in those pictures is if they have you, Ms. Union, and some other groupie in some type of 3-way!! Who gives a f**k about some pictures you took on some street, god knows where, while they were filming the movie?!?! The only thing I hope is that Cedric the Entertainer does not disgrace the memory of Jackie Gleason with his performance (come on folks...you had to see Johnson Family Vacation!!!).
