The whole movie Heartbreak Kid &*^*ed. I usually like these type of movies but it was disgustingly awful. The critics have absolutely no taste. If you want a graphic movie that will make you laugh out loud until the very end then watch Superbad, at least that was funny. The Farrelly brothers disappoint me.
And hopefully Ben Stiller will revive himself with his Tropic Thunder film he directed and stars in. Until then I'll stick to watching Zoolander, Dodgeball, and There's Something About Mary. Part of the plot really bothers me because Ben Stiller's character is crappy for what he does, but besides that this is a very funny movie. Stiller's real life father Jerry plays his father in the movie and he steals every scene. So funny. Was this review helpful? This movie $@#%ed beyond all belief, and not because it was vulgar either. Granted, there were funny parts, but those were the ones in the preview. I don't even want to recall what was horrible about it either. In the middle of the movie, my best friend yelled at me, "I hope you hate this movie because I can't stand it!"

I was laughing out loud practically half of the movie. With the exception of "Something about Mary", I am NOT a Ben Stiller fan. The Farelly bros. are hit and miss, but this was definitely a hit!! One thing though, much of the humor is gross and_or vulgar.
TIP: Don't see this with someone you would be embarassed to witness raunchy humor with. Was this review helpful? But the cheap disgusting humor was so tasteless that the movie couldn't be enjoyed. I loved the singing scene in the car, and there were some funny situations. They just took it waaaayy too far. It was pornographic. The ending wasn't funny either. It could have had at least a good ending!! We deserved that after sitting through this movie. The whole movie was like people telling bad pathetic jokes all through it. People were groaning and you could hear everyone groan "eeww" in the audience. Very tasteless and when it's that disgusting, it ceases to be funny or enjoyable. Not good. Wish I had spent the money on another enjoyable movie instead of this trashy, not funny one.

Is he getting old or is he bored with his wife, that he found it necessary to make a film showing full graphic naked, bestiality, bad words every other sentence, smoking weed, kind of movie? Once thing is comedy using sexual references once in a while, & another is to have such raw sense of humor that at the end is not funny at all. What a waste of money, time and respect for a great actor. PITTY. If you love and respect your teenager children, please don't let them see this movie. Ever. Was this review helpful? I have to say they pushed it to the edge, and some people left our theatre but apparently they don't appreciate the Farelly brothers writing style. Ben and his father were wonderful together. Let's just say that in a packed theater, no one laughed during the last hour of the movie. Everyone was so shocked by the crudeness, they just sat mute. It started out ok but then just became painful to watch. It certainly isn't a chick flick or date movie. The theme pounds too hard on every woman's worst nightmares--to the point that there just isn't anything humorous left to enjoy. Wow! This was just so disappointing. Was this review helpful? I thought it was not as good as Something About Mary, but then again, how many movies are? We rarely go to the theater anymore, but this was worth it. We are still giggling about it 2 days later. It has some really funny moments that had the audience roaring out loud.
Don't listen to the wet blankets out there. This movie is a riot (but is not for the prudish). I would not bring anyone under 18 to see it, but for adults, you won't find much funnier. I also appreciated that the movie ran almost 2 hours and was good all the way through. You should stay past the credits for one more funny scene. Everyone else had cleared out, but we took a chance and were glad we waited. Was this review helpful? You laugh long and hard. True, there are a couple of scenes that are totally gratuitous, even if it's rated R: the bestiality and the "beaver" close-up. But the message is good! Ben's character rushes into marriage for all the wrong reasons: his age, pressure from family and friends, etc. And marries a person he barely knows. Who hasn't witness this very same situation in real life? At least in this movie the consequences are comedy at its best, but in real life there's broken families and neglected kids.

Not only were there too many F words, the movie was just too smutty. I was surprised with Ben & Jerry Stuller. They don't have to make that kind of movie.
