Al Pacino's transition from good boy military hero to the Godfather is spectacular. Was this review helpful? The Godfather is the only movie I know of that created suspense with dialogue. Was this review helpful? There really is no story just a pissed off mafia boss blasting people he cant pay off. For people that liked this movie or didnt I would recomend Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 3/3/2007A review of The Godfather by Anonymous This is a pitifully ranting racist movie. Why did they have this Osama Bin Laden look-a-like play the lead role? I am ashamed to say that this movie was made with Americans starring in it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 1/31/2007A review of The Godfather by SurferBoy_007 This movie is one of the best movies ever made, it launched Al Pacino career. They didnt even want him in the movie just imagine how shitty it would have been if they would have decided not to use him. Was this review helpful? Folks, the trilogy release on DVD is an absolute must have. Then they will fear you will forever be memorized in your subconscious. And those who already own-- and have annoyed friends and family by reciting the dialogue verbatim while watching it--may someday, and that day may NEVER come, need to ask these friends for a favor. Performances by Brando, Pacino, and Caan would easily win Oscars against any performance since the movie. Great acting, filming, and plot. Unforgettable Classic. If you for some reason have never seen it, I recommend you check it out. It will change your expectations of a movie forever. Was this review helpful? Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 7/22/2004A review of The Godfather by BrittanyGail1987 I absolutely love this movie, and The Godfather Part II. (But the first is my favorite--of all time.) Most movies now a days don't have much of a story to it. But this movie has an amazing and intriguing story to it. I absolutely recommend this movie to everyone. Even if you normally don't like this type of movie, you must still see The Godfather. It's a one-in-a-billion movie--there's none like it or none that can ever compare to it. Was this review helpful? The quote "sleeps with the fishes" says that if you cross a line with them, you pay with your Life and blood. The all star cast includes James Caan,Talia Shire,Robert Duvall, and Al Pacino(he plays the loyal son,Michael).

The Family is the word on the street, and the Corleones want to rule everything from gambling to movies. Marlon Brando played a very convincing don Corlene He was calculating and cold when it came down to business. i have the entire Godfather series on dvd. I would recomend this movie and dvd collection very highly Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful Posted: 7/6/2004A review of The Godfather by goodmorningkissmyass I grew up knowing of "The Godfather" but never sat down and watched it until the summer of 2001 and then i decided that i just had to have it.I was finally rewarded for my loyality to my Godfather with my intense fandom with a gift of the 4-Disc DVD set which included the three films and a 4th Specail Edition Bonus Disc that has the coolest stuff.Marlon Brando is The Godfather and always will be.Even though he has left a profound touch to cinematic films such as "The Godfather,A Streetcar Named Desire and On The Waterfront" that will always be cherished and loved by all who know Marlon and loved his work.

It doesn't matter that he died broke and alone...What matters is what he gave us on the silverscreen....Rest In Peace Vito Corleone Was this review helpful?
