Amy Irving gives a great performance as the young Gillian who is looking for her soulmate, Robin, who is played by Andrew Stevens. You really have to have read the book to understand the subtlety of their relationship. If you want to see a really young Darryl Hannah, you catch a quickie of her here. The implication of an Agency that doesn't exist (The Shop) smacks of Steven King's "Firestarter".
