This is a great movie for getting lost in and enjoying all that it brings to the screen. The cast is outstanding with very good effects and make-up technology too. I enjoy this movie more every time watched.

Set 300 years into the future, this is a great blend of sci-fi and prophetic fantasy. the plot works, the setting is good, and the special effects are great. This has got to be my favorite movie(i've been trying to get the tangarine hair, but so far it hasn't worked). I would suggest this movie to anyone who likes far-out sci-fi. The costumes could be better, but i guess every good movie has it's flaws.

I have this movie as apart of my collection. Its one of the most entertaining Si-Fi films ever made. I totally enjoyed Bruce's role and his spandex futuristic tights, Chris's thick red lipstic lips and his girl like screams of fear. I even enjoyed the bad acting from the president of earth (who would figure). My greates moment - The Diva's singing. Wow!! with lungs like that..... You gotta see it!!!

The Fifth Element is an overall superbly done film, well-acted as it is hilariously entertaining. Not the best actor around Chris Tucker gives a hilarious performance as a near psychotic radio host, and Bruce Willis is the hero as he is in much of every film he plays in. The music for The Diva (who is brutally murdered) is performed superbly and is gorgeously sung. Fifth is definitely in the Top 5 (no pun intended, folks) in my book.

When I first heard about this movie back in '97 I didn't see it but when it came on HBO I loved it! In the year 1914 an explorer and his assistant find that there is a fifth element which is the perfect human. The perfect humam is then recreated 300 years later and literally falls into Bruce Wllis' taxi. All the cars can float and the New York in the movie looks great and the effects are amazing! You should really see this movie if you haven't

As usual, Bruce Willis is going to save our planet! But he is so perfect in this role that you can only vote between him and Arnold Schwartzenegger for this kind of movie. Anyway I was totally under the charm and even one hour after having finished watching my brand new DVD... caught on the screen! Music, scenes, beauty of the FX are ... sublimated by the actors. Also I found Mila so true that I am still watching out of my windows to see a black moon appearing to finish my trip! Another great movie from the best French director Luc Besson. He unfortunately received a bad audience in France as he prefers to play in USA... but I will just say His choice was the best! USA is certainly the most beautiful and greatest movie builder since cinema has been invented.

Another exception in the science fictions movie. I ususally rate science fiction movies 1 star. But this movie is OK. Bruce Willis is an excellent actor and whoever the red-head girl is she's an exellent actress too. Some brilliant performances I just don't like the story.

The Fifth Element was filled with love, laughter, violence, history, and artwork. The singing of the Diva, the mock history of the supreme being, the final scenes of falling in love. A great sci-fi film that must be seen.
