It seems to be a little boring in the beginning introducing the caracters of the film, but right when the government get's word that the Russians have invaded West Germany and the threat of a nuclear attack is imminet, it starts to heat up. It's really exciting when the survivers have to go through sickness, looting, surviving the fallout, and with Dr. Oakes, keeping all the people in the only working hospital within a thousand miles calm and running. i was realy in shock that there could be that much divestation" the grafics is so realistic
it kinda make`s one wonder if it could realy happen.
but then after 911 i now know it could i think you should show this movie more offten
i asked a few of my friends if they ever seen it
and none of them had or even herd of it.
i have looked for it on dvd and video tapes. and it could not be found.

My parents sat down to watch this movie, and I chose to watch with them. The movie gave a ";REAL"; feel to what a Nucular War would indeed be. We know that there would be ";survivors";, and we know that it would be hard. We just didn't know how hard until we got a little idea with this movie.I remember watching the news after the movie describing what a Nucular strike would do to the city that my family lived in, and it wasn't as frightening as the movie.This is a movie that should be watched by anyone who thinks that the Nucular threat is over.
