But if you were a THINKING FEELING person don't wait a minut and go watch it right now.
BRAD PITT SHOCKED ME. if it was up to me I would cast Leonardo Dicaprio cause I didn't think Brad has what it takes. he prooved me wrong I don't think any one woud've done it any better (it can't be done any better) he should've won an OSCAR just for walking in the movie . Cate ( UNBELIENABLE).
David Fincher sould've won the OSCAR . he's way better of Dany Boyle.
The makeup , editing , cinemography' all Great .
Story needs no speaking.
Benjamin might have been really cold in a lot of situations but think about it: if you go through what he went through you would've been cold to.
It's not boring at all and if iheard that ther is a deleted scene in the DVD I would want to see it caus I really want more.
It takes you step by step through his life emotions .
REALLY DEEP.
REALLY ARTISTIC.

In term of life messages about time, life and death the film touched my heart very deeply. In my opinion the film is a hurricane of strong and deep emotions. It was one of the best films I saw in my life, all characters are great, Benjamin is the prototipe of a person capable of only good. After seeing the film there is now something inside me in peace now - I don't know what it is, but I feel a great peace inside.

I saw this film with my 13 year old daughter and she enjoyed it, too. The acting is excellent, from the leads to the supporting cast. No complaints. Bring extra popcorn, since it's a bit longer than most films. Pitt is very good and the aging from old to young is amazing. Make up is amazing and I was surprised that this was filmed in digital, not film. The colors were vibrant and the cinematography brings you into the film. Highly recommended even if it isn't the best film ever, it's a 4 1/2 out of 5. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful  One Major FaultPosted: 1/29/2009A review of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by Caitofthelin118 I went to see this movie expecting to see something that would blow my mind. ...Two hours and fifty minutes later, I grabbed my coat and wandered out the theater wondering how I managed to stay conscious through the entire thing. Don't get me wrong, Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were BRILLIANT. The effects were BRILLIANT. The story was great and the cinematography was compelling. This movie's major fault is how ungodly slow the pace was. There were points when I stared at the screen thinking to myself "Shouldn't this be in a special feature on the DVD?" Or "Hmmmm...could have condensed the last half an hour into a seven minute montage or something" Now, I understand that a more "cultured" filmgoer is going to read into this movie like Tolkien fans read into the Silmarillion(...which isn't a very good comparison because you actually need to read into the Siilmarillion to even briefly understand it) BUT, for a film that was widely released on Christmas Day, I feel the editors of this movie should have taken the people who go to movies to be entertained into consideration. This felt like a "THIS IS AN OSCAR MOVIE. WE WANT OSCARS. OSCARSOSCARSOSCARS" movie to me.
If they had cut certain bits out and maybe shortened the movie by even a half an hour, this would have been one of my favorites. The fact that the editors of this movie are up for an Academy Award depresses me. Was this review helpful? Beautifully filmed, amazing effects and the acting was incredible. I truly believed. This film has that 'movie magic', and Brad, well, I can spell Oscar and I will be hoping he wins. I was blown away by Brad and I realized that he is a much finer actor than he has been credited for. I think people initially see him as just another pretty face and never take his acting abilities seriously. Brad, you were magic in this movie. Taraji P. Henson was also AMAZING! This movie is by far one of my most favorite movies of all time. An incredible story with a beautiful life message we all need to be reminded of. Was this review helpful? I cried several times throughout the film.
The only thing I think was sort of hard to believe about the film is, I can understand the growing younger but when he turns into a child and a small baby that is hard to believe. I can see him getting childlike in his mind but not the body. That is only reason I gaver this 4 stars.
I think he should the award but if not then the film should.

Anyone who says that this movie is a waste of time either didn't take the time to look at it for its deeper meaning, or lacks the intellect to really sit down and understand the many complex themes this movie presents. I've never sat and watched a movie that really made me think so deeply. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves movies that really entertain and make you look at yourself in the mirror. i give it 4-1/2 stars because it did have a feel of Forest Gump remix. Plus i felt the mothers funeral scene could have had a little more affection even though he was very familar with death. I don't understand how could Brad Pitt get nominated for a GG for this movie. Why bring the director of Seven, Fight Club and Zodiac to direct such a movie? Why bring an an actor whose best performace was Twelve Monkeys ( a crazy funny man) to play such a deep character? He is no Tom Hanks. Forrest Gump could have been a failure without Tom Hanks and that's why this movie is a failure to me. This movie needs a character who will move you and shake throughout the movie and not bore you to death with his emotionally chanelleged acting. READ THE STORY AND DON'T WATCH THE MOVIE!!
