Bought it on DVD the day it was released and have watched it several times.

I have seen movies made from books that I have read, and I understand that movies or Hollywood should stand by what the public want. Sometimes books are too long and difficult to put in a 2 hrs. I believe they did a very good work; the beautiful scenes, fights, the message behind are wonderful... I definitely going to see the nest one, and I'll be collecting all of them! They got the plot all wrong. I understand taking theatrical license and "hollywooding" things... but this was WAY BEYOND acceptable changes. I would list all of the SERIOUS problems except i only have 2000 characters! I will go see voyage on the dawn treader.... but this time, i will be expecting crap, and if it lives up to my low expectations, I'll be getting the rest of the movies from the one dollar red box down the street. Prince Caspian veered off course completely. There was an extra battle scene and romance between Caspian and Susan that was never present in the novel. These, of course, were not the only changes - just a couple of the most notable. I truly enjoyed the movie portrayal of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe but Prince Caspian did not cut it for me, I am sorry to say.
I am a fan of C. S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia in particular. There is enough excitement in the books and clean enough story lines to follow that these changes did not have to be made. It just seems a shame to take something as timeless as Narnia and cloud it with "Hollywood" flavour. Certainly the graphics were lovely but they would have been even more so if they had depicted a clear representation of the novel.

I love the Charecters and the story line. the first movie was awsome but this is just spectacular. i saw it four times in theater and each time i loved it.the ending was really sad but in a way it was really good. I have read all the narnia books and i have to say that the movie is 100% better than the book. the special effects where amazing and the fantasy line was great too. i loved everything abuot the movie and i can't wait until it comes out on DVD. i was very happy with the cast, escpecialy caspian.<3 He is SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOO
CUTE! peter and edmund are too but he is like 100% cuteness. i hope you go and see the movie because its awsome and if you don't like it your crazy! Was this review helpful? this is definitely a far much more better movie.
Their skills have improved.
The battle scene was exciting to every bit.
Especially when Edmund Pevensie & Peter Pevensie
have grown to become so attractive.
good storyline by C.S. Lewis.
& nice editing done to make it a wonderful movie

I went to see it by myself and kept turning in my seat to ask my kids "did you see THAT?!?!" only to remember that they were in school! I'm going again and taking them as well. My son has read the series as well - before we knew that Disney was going to film the first chronicle. Great family movie, great action and man those trees are NOTHING to joke with!!! The movie was phenomenal. I wouldn't recommend the movie for smaller children due to the amont of war images, however kudos to the director for not showing much actual killing, or bloody images.
