Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne the amnesiac high skilled former CIA assassin who's going after the ones responsible for the death of his love Marie, (* spoiler* who died within the first ten to fifteen minutes of the second film) and the people who want him dead. The third entry of the series is a fast paced action thriller that never lets down not for a minute. It's packed with amazing chase and fight sequences spread evenly throughout the film. The score also matches perfectly with the movie like the previous ones did. Plus there's a few humorus parts due to Matt Damon who seems to be having a great time in this role like he did in the others. After seeing it I definitely wouldn't want to mess with him. The chase sequences are well executed although some can be a bit of a stretch at times. The fight scenes are excellent especially the fist fight between Bourne and one of the evil assassins known as Desh inside an apartment building where they both use everything at their disposal during the ferce showdown. The rest cast also deliver good performances even though some of the villains (like Edgar Ramierz as one of the bad assassins known as the asset) lack character development. Despite it's minor flaws the rest of the film certainly makes up for it. Besides Transformers, Stardust which was a big surprise to me consdering I'm not really into romantic films, and Spider-man 3 that are now on the top of my favorite movie list because they're engaging and entertaining films to watch with your family, loved ones, or friends. The Bourne Ultimatum ranks up there and was one of the best films that came out last year. Was this review helpful? Definitely could not wait till DVD came out, i usually do for other
movies, i have first two on DVD, so you can definitely expect that
ill be getting the ULTIMATUM to add to my collection, i do think a
4th Bourne Movie won't kill me, i definitely want the story to continue...

One of my all time favorite series of movies. The action sequence are filmed in a bad way and you really can't see what is going on I guess you are supose to fill like your seeing through there eyes but I don't like that. I felt like I was right in the movie with Borne. It had great action and a great story line. Lots of action in this movie. Although hard to keep up because the way the action scenes were put together, this movie keeps you rivited to what is going on. I Loved the story in this one. But, I couldn't watch a lot of the scenes due to ridicuolously bouncy camera work and too rapid cuts. I have liked this style in the other Bourne films,but this one took it too far for me to enjoy. I started to feel sick and started to get a headache. I looked away for a while and felt better. This has never happened in any movie before, and unfortunately I missed some of several good scenes. Others watching the show had the same reaction.
Despite liking the story and the acting, I will not buy the DVD for this one. Was this review helpful? This is the movie for you. Have really liked the other 2 in this series .I have Read the books and they have done a decent job following the plot lines. The way they left the end open makes me think there may be a fourth. I personally liked the way the movie was filmed. I think it says a lot for the direction of the film, it was very unique and it came through in the suspense. It was very suspenseful with great action sequences. The car crashes were unreal. I LOVED the 1st & 2nd, and the 3rd is NO exception. There was no love story in this one, but you don't really need it, just because Julia Stiles makes her appearance (hottie) and the story is just deeper than that. Finding out where you really came from, and what really happened at the beginning is more important than sex, and finally some directors show us that!
