This movie was made, supposedly, for the faith based market. In that, it is a catastrophic failure. Nothing in this movie lines up with the biblical picture at all, and most certainly not their definition of innocence, redemption or soul. Three men have to take an emergency landing in an air plane and end up in a small Texas town that has been infected by evil. If it werent for that, the town would have been innocent. This, of course, is completely non-credible since we all know that evil, sin and bad things are present everywhere around us, even in such quaint places as Little House on the Prairie. A (cigar smoking and beer drinking - what an interesting angle!) angel (Chuck Norris) is there to tell them that they can become the redeemers of this town. Need I mention at this point that, according to the Bible, Jesus Christ is the only Redeemer? Although it is never quite certain what they would have to do to redeem anything or anybody, the three rise to the task and waltz through town like some wanna-be western heroes. I am a Christian, and I appreciate movies which bring a message from the Bible to screen. This is, unfortunately, not one of those.
