THE 2ND YEAR OLD LEARNED SOME VERY COOL VOCAB THROUGH THIS. I LOVED ALL THE SCENES. TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS MOVIE. IT IS FAMILY ORIENTED AND GREAT. ALL MY 8 KIDS LOVED IT.

I'm a girla nd 11 yrs old and i loved it. who cares about the swears? it makes it sooooo much funnier! u parents that are complaining, the raiting is PG 13, not Barney! i know i was 2 yrs younger but i was mature enough to handle it. Basicaly what i am trying to say, only take your kids if they are 10 years old or older. This movie was the best comedy and movie in general, that i have ever seen. i REALLY enjoyed it. I thought it wasnt going to have the jokes and cursing that makes it funny because it looked more like a kids movie but very funny!!
Billy Bob was great too! He was great for the role. For the mothers and fathers who baby their kids and are offended by this movie...get a life.. its funny! I would not recommend this to children since this film does have quite a bit of swearing. This film is quite enjoyable and a mood lifter. A lot of people didn't like it because of the language, WHO CARES, can't we accept a great comedy without calling it offensive!!! I'm 12 and I'd say if you are 11-18 you'll love this movie. Especially if u play baseball

this movie was decent... some of the acting WAS pretty bad but it was made up for with the funny parts... and yes, the language does get a little rough so I wouldn't encourage bringing your kids to this movie. I've been to only 2 movies this year, with the first movie I saw this year absolutely fantastic (of course it had Adam Sandler in it too who is always hilarious!!!)
Anyway...moving on...let me begin by saying that the original Bad News Bears movie was one of my ultimate favorite movie to this day! The only thing even remotely close to the first movie was the "Tanner" kid with the blonde hair who was always fighting everyone. The other main characters (Kelly, the girl, and the coach) absolutely killed the movie. Of course, along with the directors too. The girl couldn't throw a baseball to save her life and looked idiotic trying to do so. "Kelly" looked like a freakin' girl and not a long haired tough guy and the coach (Billy Bob Thornton) besides needing to pull those stupid hairs from below his bottom lip, needs to go back wherever he came from, under a rock or whatever.
I can't believe my whole Bad News Bears experience and I plan on getting the original movie for my son to watch so he can appreciate the REAL Bad News Bears movie. They had better take this movie and pull it out of all the theaters before everyone's great experience with the original movie gets killed!
Don't see this movie....save your money and go out and buy a hat or something!

If you think this will be lighthearted, forget it.
If you think it will have a moral, forget it.
If you think about taking anyone under voting age, forget it.
Why was this movie made? Who made it? Who made up the intended audience? If the audience was children, then the moviemaker should have to eat marshmallows and bug juice for five weeks. If it was intended for adults, let us hope anyone whose age is in double digits has more sense than to think this movie had any saving grace. NONE.
Wouldn't it have been nice if the moneymakers behind this flick had just forgetten it--written it off as a bad thought after too much booze.

Most of the good jokes are given away in the trailer, but it still had hot chicks and funny moments. Too many people are getting way too worked up about this filmand how they were surprised ny the kids cursing. Unless you're retarted you can tell the movie has bad words from the trailers that pretty much throws that information out there. If you are a parent who's strongly against foul language don't bring your kids. If you're a movie buff who can't stand some mediocre acting and cliche moments don't see this. Based on that and the manipulated-to-make-the-movie-look-bett er commercials, I was excited to go see this film. (Seriously -- the commercials dub over things and used different lines in the movie for a different part to make it sound funnier... ridiculous.) My friend and I both seemed to have the same expression as we looked at each other 15 mins into the film... "what??" This movie was awful. I can tolerate a little swearing that makes things funny, but every other word out of the kids' mouths was pretty raunchy. The worst part for me was the lack of character building. I didn't "get to know" anyone in the film in order to even want to get into it. Even though there were some funny parts, this is definitely a huge dissapointment to anyone who actually believes that the advertisements of the film accurately depict the movie.
