This movie was just O.K. nothing really stands out in your memory about it. It wasnt that funny and It wasnt that engaging. The original Antz is alot better. My kids just sat there watching the screen, they werent excited or laughing outloud at any point in this movie. Its not bad, its just O.K.

GREAT FAMILY MOVIE. YOU WILL NEVER LOOK AT ANTS THE SAME AGAIN. TOOK 6 KIDS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 4 AND 10 AND THEY ALL LOVED IT. EVEN I FOUND AMUSEMENT IN THE STORY. ITS A WELL DEVELOPED STORY THAT IS APPRORIATE AND ENJOYABLE FOR ALL AGES.

If you like mother earth worshiping, PETA endorsed, we are the world, semi-socialist drivel disguised as entertainment, this movie is for you.

This Is The Ultimate Combo Of Antz And Honey I Shrunk The Kids Like The Person Said In The Last Review. It Was Worth Seeing This. It Was Cute, And It Was A Very Entertaining Movie. Produced By The Worlds Greatest Actor Tom Hanks. On The Down Side, The Voice Of Lucas Made Me Want To Plug My Ears Or Walk Away From My Seat In The Theater. Overall This Was An Enjoyable For The Family

I found this an excellent movie for kids and adults. The Ant Bully has great graphics and smart characters. It keeps you not to tense, yet relaxed. This movie also lives up to its name, but should change the name in the ending. (A little nudity involved, but not much)!

Just saw the movie and found it very entertaining. Lots of good chuckles, even for an old f--t like me. Had some of the kids holding their sides. Good one liners and a message for the kids. Good family movie!!!

This movie was very good. My 7 and 4 year olds really enjoyed it. The length of the movie was perfect, as the kids didnt get bored and ask when the movie was over. My 7 year old was able to understand the lesson and the 4 year old probably wont be stepping on ants anytime soon.

I took my 10 and 5 year old sons. We enjoyed the movie very much. Many kids movies today are just really not that funny or enjoyable. We thought this one was good though. It has a lot of laughs and a decent story. We would recommend it to you. I enjoyed it as and adult as well. Good movie. The professional review is worthless. Its a good one to go see.

Posted: 7/28/2006A review of The Ant Bully by MovieNightTrafficLight
The Ant Bully is another animated movie in a long list out this summer. Lucas (voiced by Zack Tyler) is a little kid who gets picked on by the bully in his neighborhood. To vent his anger, he takes out his aggressions on an ant hill in his backyard by dousing it with water. What he doesnt know is that the ants have their own little society and they are determined to get even with the human destroyer who tried to flood them. The wizard ant Zoc (voiced by Nicolas Cage) creates a potion that shrinks Lucas to ant size. They bring him to the ant colony where he is sentenced to stay in the colony and learn the ways of ants. The kind female ant Hova (voiced by Julie Roberts) takes him under her wing to make sure he learns his lessons. Lucas resists the lessons until he remembers his dad hired an exterminator to come kill the ants. Now Lucas has to find a way to save the ants and himself before they are all annihilated. Along the way, he forges new friendships, learns to respect others differences and learns how to confront bullies. The Ant Bully offers a somewhat interesting premise, as well as the ever more common fascinating animation. And even though in a sane and just world, one would never find Nicholas Cage and voice talent in the same sentence, Nicholas Cage nonetheless excels as just that a voice talent. But, the movies story is a little too typical and poorly developed, moving in fact too fast at some times and too slow at others. More importantly, the movie lacks both the compelling suspense and the extraordinary cartoon chemistry that so characterize the classics Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and, of course, A Bugs Life. Yes, kids will enjoy it, as they tend to enjoy most everything with bright colors and a happy ending. Adults, however, will find the experience largely uneventful . . . possibly even dull. www.MovieNightTrafficLight.com
