If you want good sand and sandals, get 'Demetrious and the Gladiators', a far superior film. My uncle, Melvin Kootnz, trained and did all the tiger scenes. He said that Victor Mature was the nicest guy he ever met, and that the animals all liked him too. This flick, 'the 300' , blows tuna chunks. The fight scenes are the cheese'est, the armour @#$%s, the story is a total fabrication, and the broad is a dog. Other then that, its not bad. Was this review helpful?
