My supervisor at DISH with spoke pretty highly of That’s My Boy, so I was almost certain that I would be laughing all night. I grabbed the DVD from my mailbox tonight and that feeling of certainty didn’t even last through the first act. We rented it from Blockbuster at Home through DISH and Adam has certainly had a bad streak of movie lately, but this has to be the worst one yet. It was terrible. Most of the jokes were just plain disgusting and I have no idea how he talked that many celebrities into this garbage fest. About twenty minutes in I took the movie out of the player and over to the Blockbuster store down the street for a free exchange. I only have one movie night a week and I am happy I did not waste it on That’s My Boy.

Adam Sandlers streak is finally coming to an end. putting movies out there just because he can afford to. this movie is just sick. nothing funny, just awkward, sick, and at the end of the movie you forgot what it was all about. you think you know what they movie is about, but you're wrong. no moral, no good feeling, nothing. waste of money. it only lasted about 2 weeks at the normal theatres, and then hit the dollar theatre at only 2 showings. that willl tell you.

Hey, it's Adam Sandler - the King of Garbage. What did you expect? Anyone paying money to see the trash he produces has more dollars than sense. And I still haven't figured out what qualifies Andy Samberg as funny or even talented. I was cajoled into going with a group of relatives - two of whom walked out and left the rest of us at the theater.

We went to see this movie because we were missing our movie popcorn fix. We looked at the local listing of movies showing....and while none of them sparked much interest for us....this one was the best of the worst. We used to go to the movies most every weekend....for years we did this and always found an interesting movie to see. The past couple years, finding a movie we want to see has become a real chore. I'm not sure what hollywood is up to....but whatever it is, it isn't of much interest to us. This movie did provide us with our movie popcorn fix....but it's filled with simple minded typical juvenile potty mouth and sexual humor....one line or scene after another. We laughed at times of course....but it's a shame what hollywood has sunk to if this is initiative of the product they are putting out these days.

Whether its causing mayhem and widespread destruction, stealing lemonade from children, raunchy language, depicting and even advocating sexual relationships between male students and teachers, portraying obvious addiction to drugs of every sort and general idiotic and anarchic behavior that runs counter to the maintenance of any civilized society, this movie presents it as not only acceptable but as necessities to meet the qualifications for amusement. The only behavior that is given any level of contempt is a discovery of incest. Given what was presented as acceptable in the rest of the film, I was a bit surprised. Though you might see some users here give this film glowing reviews, remember they are Adam Sandler fans and thus find this kind of so called humor acceptable. Knowing that what we see has a impact on how we behave especially those in the so called impressionable years, this film should not be seen, and I mean this seriously, by anyone and especially the young. Sandler should be ashamed of this crap not only in that it is an insult to the art of film making but, an assault on civilized behavior. But, he doesn't care because, he is making money. I have no respect at all for this stinking example of unadulterated garbage and the people who spewed it.

I watched a pre-screening of the movie "That's my Boy" starting Adam Sandler. Now, most people would say that Happy Madison movies are "hit" or "miss". Personally, I love Adam Sandler, I mean, the guy is pretty funny sometimes. I will say that this movie is the funniest movie I have seen since Wedding Crashers and The Hangover. I was legit laughing histerically during the entire movie. I definitely give it 10 stars.
