comparing all the movies to each other you notice how similar but different each movie is. first one he is a killer, second he is a protector, and in the third he is a protector but he kicks more butt. i liked the idea of the TX but it seemed too ultimate. it easily took over vehicles and seemed like it could hack into any electrical component. the car chase... wow. all the damage the crane hook does, and just the overall special effects of this movie were spectacular. in the end of the previous terminator movies- arnold dies and alas this movie is no different. great plot and ending this movie delivers all the way. you just gotta sit back and enjoy it just like the other movies. the whole terminator series is just awesome. if you havnet seen it- go get your pals and watch it tonight.

Though Terminator 3 was decent, there is one flaw which I'm sure many could point out is Kristanna Loken's character TX, is a copy of the famous T - 1000 Cop from Terminator 2. The action scenes between The Terminator and her were exact as Terminator 2. That is why I didn't find her or the plot very interesting. I hoped the TX would be different and have more powerful moves. Another puzzling factor came into mind was when Judgment Day was going to happen still, even though in the second film Sarah Conner prevented it from happening by destroying Cyberdyne Systems, so how could Cyberdyne really continue it's plans? I wished that they brought back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner, after all she was the big reason the machines would come from the future, she was the reason for the terminator to even came in the first place. Just having John Conner being the big shot in this was not that interesting to me. Once I found out she was not in it I was dissappointed. Above all the movie was ok. Only because Arnold Schwarzenegger is still his famous character. I don't recommend this to people who loved the second cause they will think differently of it after viewing this one.

Many thought that James Cameron's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" marks the end of the cyber-action franchise that has served several mutual benefits to other films 12 years forward. There were speculations that the third will be made but unfortunately, James Cameron chose not be involved. This was a problem because before we finally took advantage of CGI effects into new heights, Cameron was the only man who knew how to effectively craft the franchise. But now in 2003, the long (yet pseudo) anticipated third installment of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" is here but not with Cameron but with Jonathan Mostow (U-571, Breakdown). The film was met with lack of welcome from fans and critics because the second was so perfect it ruled out every possible idea and concept in sci-fi history. But do we really need to further explore the franchise's paradoxs and time possibilites? Does Arnold's T-800 character need to have deep human personality like Indiana Jones? No, this is a adrenaline-hardcore-action-packed explosion that improves upon the outdated action scenes in past films. Jonathan Mostow effectively recreates the story without dumbing it down.

this movie was great, I watch it about 3 times a week when Im working at home. If you just relax and enjoy the movie for what it is then you'll love it. But if you sit there and analyze the death out of it like some of the other 1 star ratings then of course you'll find some things that should not have happened but that doesn't make the movie bad...now does it. Be honest.<br><br>This movie makes you want to hold up studios to find out what happens in T4. They have to bring Arnold back. What is more important, our enjoyment or governing the state of california?...Jess, our enjoyment of course.

I like Terminator 3. It was not as good as number 2. Plus it was not as long as number 2. This needed more effort! The special effects. There was alot of things I did not like. One was that they didnt show a lot of weapons. Also I did not like that the terminator was not liquid or better. In number 2 it was all liquid. I didnt understand why the TX didnt get damage from the shot gun that Arnold was firing. Plus I dont know why T101(Arnold) didnt use the rocket laucher the first time and why he only shot one rocket at TX. It seemed like the TX would only die with a atomic bomb. Terminator 3 was not as funny as T2 movie. I thought it was good though.

First off: please, for anyone who cares about the story from the first two, consider this piece of crap 'fan fiction'<br><br>Oke? Oke.<br><br>Now, lesse...first off, this film *shouldn't* have happened: T2's story was done. Finished. The only reason you live to see *this* piece of crap is some damn focus group decided that the 'highway' ending for T2 "left it more open for a sequel"...yet the original ending shows a future where Judgement Day NEVER HAPPENS. But in this movie, it's innevitable! Boom! Arnie's sacrifice at the end of 2 is no longer noble, it's pointless! Boom! John Connor never gets to bring an end to the 'rise of the machines': he's apparently killed, which contradicts a *lot*. Boom! T2 was setup so Skynet was virtually destroyed before the movie happens (it's talked about in film, and if you've ever played the arcade game, you'll see that little event). The T-1000 was its last-ditch effort to win, and it was a prototype.<br><br>Apparently, T-Sex, er, T-X was someone in all this, and was much more important for a third movie.<br><br>The list of contradictions go on, but the acting is the true pain of this movie: everything is painfully coreographed, the actors need to SHUT UP so badly it's not even funny, and the 'fate' trip everyone one is on?<br><br>"No fate" ring a bell?<br><br>Some of the new tidbits don't make sense, either: why bother with the T-1000 if you had the T-X around? If that power core the terminators have goes off like a nuke, why don't they self destruct when taken down. Hell, why didn't that happen in the first film?!<br><br>I could keep this up all day, but I won't: this film SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE. --; Seriously, you'll be dissapointed if you truly gave a damn about 1 & 2, and the point they were trying to get across.

If you liked the first or second one, you'll definetly like the third one. I can't tell you how long I've waited for this to come out! Anyway, Arnold plays a great role, as always, as terminater. And John Conor is played great! everything was great. I mean, ACTION packed! Go Go see it.

I think that this film was the best action film made this year.(2003).<br>I also think that this was the best Terminator in the series, and it lived up to what i was expecting from it.

Another excellent summer action movie. Nick Stahl was definitely better than Edward Furlong although I was sad to see Linda Hamilton go, but please, Claire Daines. I just couldn't feel it with her.<br><br>Now to the movie, the Terminatrix was awesome and on par with the T2 terminator in terms of abilities. Although Arnold is getting up there in age, he still kicks some butt.<br><br>Overall the movie is just a primer for T4, if you're thinking the world is going to be saved in this one, think again. It's only obvious that a nuclear holocaust was around the corner and there was no stopping it this time around.<br><br>The plot was a little confusing sometimes, especially when you get into time travel and trying to stop future events by changing the past. I guess you could go on and on about that one. But overall the action was excellent, Arnold is Arannnaulllddd and it was just a good all around flick. My official grade: B.<br><br>
