This was one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. Don Cheadle performed so well in this film. He embodied the character and become Peaty Greene. Honestly I watched the movie on bootleg, but Im going to the theater to watch it this weekend on the big screen. THEY DESERVE THAT 9 bucks, Im sure more than Rush Hour 3 does.....Anyway Don Cheadle & Chiwetel (I really cant spell his name) gave a great performance, it ^*#$s you in at the beginning and doesnt let you go until the end. Taraji Henson, and Martin Sheen gave good performance as well, but Cheadle took the show. Great Summer movie. Was this review helpful? I was surprised though, to find that it was only playing in two theaters in the entire Detroit metro area. Both of which were on the other side of the metro from me, some 50 miles. A real crowd pleaser. it was funny and sensitvie and told a story that many of us need to see & hear about!!! Please go see this movie on the the big screen before they pull it. Henson played Vernell to Perfection, there is nothing like a true story, people can relate when the story is so real and powerful as this story...Hollywood should make more movies like this...Great Movie go see an award winning performance from the whole cast!! He was born to play this role and effortlessly takes over the character of Petey Greene.
