She is wonderful at whatever she is doing soley for the fact that she lights up the screen. She is talented, beautiful, and very contraversal. Obviously just by reading all the mixed reviews she is contraversal in everything she does. The movie itself is different and thats what Guy and Madonna are trying to portray. Who wants any movie to be like the original? Madonna is talented in whatever she does and once she finds the role that best suits her everyone will be amazed like I am already. We cant forget the role of Evita (one of the best movies of all time) so please dont regard her as talentless because you didnt like the movie itself. Even as a singer she has to act on stage and thats what she is very famous for. Open your minds not your ears. Was this review helpful? I think she just needs a some acting classes or coaching and she will turn into a much better received actress. She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe in her early films she was great when she played herself (similar to Madonna in Desparately Seeking Susan, however, MM got better and better with acting classes with the Strausbergs (The Misfits). This film, and others she does in the future will turn into great movies if she gets little coaching. The way the press perceive her is so bloody. I have the DVD now, and I happy to own a copy. Madonna, is so free of herself, she acts in a good way. With her curly blonde locks, and her slim & muscualar body, Lady M is a showstopper. I find this movie quite entertaining. Guy Ritchie is a genius, not to mention a hunk-alcious. Only then can our opinion really matter and make sense. Regardless of the construed quality of an artwork there are always lessons to be learnt: like the concept of how easy it is to have our roles reversed.
