I SAW IT WITH FRIENDS YETSERDAY AND I WAS VERY BORED AND NOT ONE THING WAS FUNNY. AND ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN THE MOVIE KEPT USING BAD WORDS. AND I MEAN THEY USED THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I WAS VERY BORED AND EVEN MY FRIENDS THOUGHT IT WAS A POINTLESS MOVIE. YES IN ONE PART OF THE MOVIE IT WAS A LITTLE FUNNY BUT COME ON IT WAS A REALLY BAD MOVIE. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  SUPER BAD IS SUPER KICK ASSIf you like Saturday Night Live...Wedding Crashers, Dodgeball...etc....you will love this movie and find yourself quoting as soon as the credits are rolling. To the people that don't like this movie, ($@&, you should understand that people enjoy this humour, and if you didn't like it, you shouldn't have watched it in the first place cuz its not your type of humour. I don't trash talk chick flix...I hate them and I know that they aren't my flavour, so I don't rent watch them. Know what type of movie you like before renting it. If your a fan of Ron Burgandy, Chaz Michael Michaels, and so on and so forth...GO RENT THIS MOVIE. If you don't, rent the waitress and cry yourself to sleep! Was this review helpful? Aptow has done nothing good since Virgin, which was funny at best. Knocked Up was lame, and this followed it up with being just as bad. I dare to go to a theater and hear people laughg "out loud" at what? to hear two guys say the f word almost a record number of times. Try Alpha Dog for the record. Sure, we all had to get beers when we were in high school. I'm tired of Seth's act as well. Flat out, the last two Aptow movies were not funny. I watched There's Something About Mary the other night and laughed my ass off. So, yes, I have a sense of humor. Something lacking in Aptow's last two. Later. Was this review helpful? But it felt long and drawn out in some parts. I would wait until it came out on DVD and rent it, rather than going to the theatre to see it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  teenage awkardness at its bestPosted: 9/9/2007A review of Superbad by drunkenkarebear i just watched the movie and can already tell its an instant classic. some didnt like it but news flash people, thats the way teenagers act, thats the way i acted, im 21 and i still kinda act like that, and this movie really captured that. Mc'lovin is going to be part of pop culture now, he stole the movie. i love this movie, it brings back memories. as for the people who dont like it, well i guess you never had fun like the rest of us did when we were teenagers. We could only stand the first 20 minutes of this God awful film before walking out of it. Nothing like a bunch of juvinile dick jokes. I think there was at least 20 of them in the 20 agonizing minutes we sat through before leaving for a much better film. Geez is this what movies have come to? Was this review helpful? Tried to rely on sex talk to keep the movie entertaining but the movie rang hollow. Not well done at all. Was this review helpful? What they did is repeated the same foullanguage, same concept, same extremely crude references to sex (both straight and gay) for the entire duration of the film! It had a great potential and they totally blew it.
I just had a surgery and have to take pain meds, but, sadly, not even the opiates could make this movie better. :( Just dismayed at how misleading the ads and "critic" reviews are for this. Never listen to critics, I never will. Waste of time and money. Was this review helpful? Sign In | ||
