Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  SimplifiedPosted: 9/26/2008A review of Stay by urfaceislame8 this movie was a great movie...and well if you really get into this genre of movies then u will love it...otherwise if you probably wont get it....it's an amazing movie i think...and thanks to the stuffy filmfan guy or whatever his review doesnt give this movie enough credit...but thats okay...bc atleast i got to see it and give it an amazing review...im not going to be stuck up and give it big words...im just going to give it a worded nice review...and to be honest for u simple minded people u might just get lost in the movie yourselves bc obviously not many slow people get it til the 3rd time around watching it....but i personally give it all the credit it deserves and more...it not only had a great twisted plot but amazing actors as well...lots of loves....katheryn Was this review helpful? The beauty of it is that there isnt only one perfect explanation or plot,, you just end up thinking a little bit or a lot, and definitely are left with a strong huh,,,,,, factor,,,
Anyhow, if youre reading this and you havent seen it but are considering seeing it, and you are a person who likes movies that make you think you should definitely make the time. In fact grouping it into the ones make you think category doesnt even do it justice, its so much better and beyond that.
The fact that this site and its professional reviewer have given it such a shallow rating puts all of its other reviews in doubt for me,,

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  i dont knowPosted: 2/9/2007A review of Stay by nikkimac1972 I havent seen this movie yet but I cant help but notice that the few (and I mean few) people that rated it 1 star (or wished they could rate it a zero), complained so much about wasting their precious time.
Im shocked that someone, anyone with such a short amount of precious time, would waste it at a grungy theater, in the first place, with absolutely no idea what kind of movie theyre in store for anyway. Certainly their friends have gone to see it and may have some insight???? Maybe theyve read the reviews????
Hey...if you havent heard a lot of hype from the big reveiw guys or if you havent read a lot of hooplah then maybe you may want to consider waiting for the DVD! I mean if your time is so precious then get your ass over to the cancer-walk and use it wisley instead of complaining uselessly to people like me that actually enjoy different movies now and again and not the same old crap like you. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  i dont know wat to sayPosted: 10/24/2006A review of Stay by ♥♥ßļąĉĸŖōŝê♥♥ im still thinking about that movie.. the things is there is no real story...but there are many twists n turns .i cud say it no thriller nor horror nor drama... it was actually more mysterious coz it makes u concentrate and demands ur undivided attention for as long as ur watchin.. its one of these movies that u just wud b able to switch off or get bored off....if ur looking to take ur mind off things and see a movie.. this is the film for u... i must say its quite intresting and different..got me glued to the TV for the entire hour and 38 mins that it was on

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful good movieWhen this movie ended I was left with a kind of out of body feeling- yeah...wierd. I just stood in front of my sink thinking about it. I really enjoyed it, and I dont even fully understand it. I cant wait to watch it again with some friends and try to grasp everything. As far as the subject matter goes this movie is fun to watch with friends, its pensive, very confusing, and has substance. Other than that everything was done excellently- scenic design, lighting, characterization. I may give it five stars after I watch it again. Was this review helpful? I love movies that make you think but this movie can only make you think about why someone would spend money to see this movie. The movie has a couple of cool scenes but that does not compare to the rest of the movie which is terrible. Do not try to figure it out because it has no real meaning anyways. Welcome to the !@! Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Different.I really cannot believe how ignorant and shallow people are these days - they expect to watch movies and understand every single thing, its like if they turn off their brain when watchin movies, they refuse to use it, and when a movie is made to make them use their brain, they hate it, they hate the movie because they are mad at themselves for not understanding anything, they feel its right to blame the movie instead of themselves.
This is a great movie, its like nothing i have ever seen before, it is just different, its a movie that you wont stop thinkin bout the day after. I really recommend this movie to all who think change is good, to all who just want to see something a lil out of the ordinary. Was this review helpful? The cinematography of Stay was very visually appealing. This movie kept me guessing through every scene. I was very pleased with the techniques used in this film to keep the audience questioning the story, plot line. I would highly recommend watching this movie (for reasons more profound than the existence of the movie itself), but if you are the type of person who needs absolute answers to everything at end of the film... My boyfriend and I left the movie having no clue as to what the plot was or what the movie was truely about. We were unable to even figure out if it had a hidden meaning. There is no category to place this Twilight Zone meets Sixth Sense waste of film. Since I dont get a lot of time to myself, I was seriously debating walking out after the first hour. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful geniuswarning- you will need to think! if you don't like to be actively engaged in a movie, you won't like or get this movie- go see 'doom' or some other garbage. if you like being really invloved in movies you will love it. i was amazed at how well this film was done- beautifully shot and put together. i loved it. i did notice most of the people in the theatre sitting there and walking out of the theatre with blank expressions. i saw this movie twice, the second time was fun in different way because i could see how all the events and symbols that seemed confusing the first time around made perfect sense. this is a brilliant story and piece of work. go see it.
