Directors must know by now that a movie has be interesting to kids and their parents if it's going to be successful. What a load of rubbish. Having said that my kids loved it of course. Oh well. Or should of been. But then i see ads for a new star wars movie, and seeing all the trailers, I thought it would be great, and when i went to the movie, i cried tears of joy when i saw the Clone Wars logo go up, and squinted my eyes in anticipation for the writing after the main title. Well, i was still squinting when the movie started, and that's when my tears of happiness turned to sadness. I, a young Star Wars junkie, was bored at the end of the movie. I was very disappointed in the time line; I mean, c'mon! A Jedi wouldn't of got a new Padawan, and then be shipped off to some major danger zone and have her still live. In reality, she should of been shot down dead in the first 15 minutes. And also, another complaint is about Anakin and Padme. I was really hoping on seeing more of them together; but again, I was disappointed. My last pesimistic complaint will be this one, and then if you are looking for something positive about it in here is that I will admit, the music was very good. But really, the Star Wars series have now been offically overdone. Was this review helpful? Anakin's character was wrong. This boy would not allow some pipsqueak to call him "Sky Guy", It would be master or nothing, with nothing being the most likely. She would not behave that way. My point? Character development #^!@ed. seriously.
The mouth movents #^!@ed. L's came out shaped as W's.
The animation felt like a saturday morning cartoon.

The side of the mountain scene, in particular, will make your stomach curl with the variety of angles presented. The new padawan girl is fun to root for, and the cameo appearances of Jawas help bring the same humor and excitement as the original movies. Call it a homer pick; five out of five stars. As an adulit, without any small children, I personally found it tremendously exciting and I intend to see it again. It's just too much to grasp all of the beauty and action in one sitting. If you have kids who like Star Wars you MUST take them to see this.
It's nice to see a film for kids that doesn't have dirty jokes and curse words mixed in. It is definitely made for kids but if you ask me, it's about time! Was this review helpful? I prefer the traditional movies, but we're into a whole new generation of Star Wars fans. They like animation! I think this movie was geared toward this new generation of fans, not the older 'original' fans. Nevertheless, it was still a decent kids movie with a Star Wars story line. Was this review helpful?
