Good script, good, but sad ending, go get it and the rest of the Star Trek films.

This is a good movie but there are some mistakes in the script that john Loggan didn't see. The story is very good considering that it could have been better with the colaboration of Brannon Bragga. The special effects are excellent.

This movie has many faults, one centers too much on Picard and Data, the other people from the crew are just there telling their lines without any involment on the movie.<br><br>The bridge of Shinzon's ship looks more like a Vegas show, terrible acting and story, a carbon copy of the wrath of Khan.<br><br>The special effects are good but this movies is not the ending that the trek fans want for the series.<br><br>I hope paramount get better writers that respect the star trek universe and their characters.

One of the better directed star trek movies. Captured the &quot;;feel&quot;; of what we expect in the tone and acting. It did move a little slow at times, but I found the development of the actors refreshing. The focus on Patrick Stewart was enjoyable (he is a great actor) and his nemisis was superb.. If you liked Wrath of Kahn, you should like this one.

We were under whelmed by the movie. I guess that George Lucas has set a standard far beyond the rest of the movie companies. I don't think the plot was well developed, the acting stank and it was never clear what was happening. I liked &quot;;Dune&quot;; better. I wanted this to be the best of the series, but it flopped.

I enjoyed this movie. It had a few interesting plot twists but it also had a few take offs from other Star Trek films. I wasn't disappointed but I did expect more from the LAST TNG movie. I like TNG the most and am very sorry to hear that this will be their last movie.

The latest installment in the STNG franchise was a great movie. I don't want to go in to details but anybody who sees this movie will not be let down. And I would not be surprised if there is anouther one in the works. The way this movie ended almost demands for anouther film to be released. In short if was a good scifi action movie. with all the expected drama and adventure. the only thing I would critisize it for was that there was not enough explanation about how wesley was there in the begining and not even mentioned in the rest of the film. I can't wait for the next installment to be released.

Posted: 12/18/2002A review of Star Trek: Nemesis by KoreanAlphaXY
Of course, I am referring to the ship, not the movie. Inconsistencies regarding why the crew members haven't move on is obvious - Riker should be captain already, Picard an admiral before Janeway; Jordi and Data are command materials too, and Worf, shouldn't he be a Klingon ambassador or at least a captain? As for Wesley, didn't he evolve into some sort of metaphysical higher lifeform? This is not the first time with unexplainable inconsistencies. They totalled the Enterprise D on the big screen but there it was in the TV episode with Q paradox, with Riker as the captain and the Enterprise D with 3rd warp nacelle no less! Explain all you want about time line rift and blah, blah, blah .... ok let's leave the inconsistencies to the hard-core trekkies to expound upon, elucidate and debate ad nauseum ... As for the desert chase scene, you'd think they could come up with a vehicle that is something more sophisticated than a gussied up dune buggy from the 60's. It would have been interesting to explain how they got hold of Picard's DNA and Data prototype B4. All in all, it is an entertaining movie with fair amount of action and intrigue. Acting is somewhat clunky, but it always is, although maybe not as campy as Captain Kirk's original crew. While this movie and the several previous movies have had darker, more ominous tone with more battle action sequences, I pined for even more space battle actions and meyhem involving lots of starships like the ones in the Star Trek DS9 series. I know this goes against the Star Trek mantra that it is more about lofty ideas and high principles rather than grutuitous violence and action. But hell, why can't we have both? As it is with previous Star Trek movies, whether it was good or bad, I always leave the theater wanting more. It's kanda like drinking a light beer, tastes ok but not quite filling ...

Taking a quote from Patrick Stewart, this truly is &quot;;the end of the begining.&quot;; To miss this film, would be to miss an epic chapter within the Trek series of movies. This movie addresses many issues while at the same time, faces the politics of Star Trek. This action packed drama is worth every cent you'll spend at the theatre plus the other eight dollars you will use to see it again! Things are just starting to get interesting...

I thought it was great. Best movie I have seen in a long time. I loved how it was darker than Insurrection, more like First Contact. Special effects were great along with the acting. I will be wanting to go again!

Oh boy, MSN, did you even SEE the movie? They're on the way to the honeymoon (they're already married in the beginning). The android is B4, not B9. Ok, but the movie was still good. I heard they cut out like an hour of it, so I'm curious to see all the stuff that was missed. I think they actually cut out something very important (that whole wine scene was short and who wasn't there that should have been?). Yes I purposely wrote that sneakily.Boys, and I know it's mainly boys reading this, it's OK to bring a girl to this one. I'm a girl, and while I occasionally watch the show, I haven't seen the other movies, and I'm not really into it. I was the only girl in the theater, but it wasn't very full (matinee). She will also understand what's going on, although there were a few jokes that people laughed at that just ::wooosh:: over my head. Other than that I thought it was a very good movie.

Star Trek TOS was an interesting program, now get over it. Star Trek TNG had some moments but enough is enough already. Predicable as the rest in this long drawn out series balanced with mediocre acting and moderate special effects(relativle speaking).

This Star Trek movie was better than most of the previous nine, making it all the more bitter sweet that this is probably the end. Not so much because of what happens in this movie, but moreso because Star Trek has clearly &quot;;run out of legs.&quot;; The proof's in the box office earnings--about $25 million so far, clearly far below expectations.I'm the first to say I'd love more, but if it has to end, at least it's ending on a high note.Live long and prosper!

My first impression was &quot;;this is going to be the best one yet&quot;; and the movie was far from being good. I have been a Star Trek fan all of my life and I am 26yrs old now. I have seen all the movies and pretty much all the TV shows from the original to the newest on the air. I went to the movies and just knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this one was going to be the ONE to have a major plot, climax, and one hell of an ending. Well, after the movie my dreams were shot down. Nemesis had a very rocky plot, a very short-ended climax, and a ending that had me cursing. I walked out after the end and went to my car and just played the movie out in my head again and the movie seemed like a script written for TV. A lot was not fully explained and just too many gaps in the playout. I would just hope that if there is going to be a next movie, let it have a damn good plot and not make me feel like I am at home watching an episode on TV.Thanks
