This film depicts the horror of war through the men who have to actually fight it. This is not a pro-german or Pro-war film and never gives the viewer that impression. There are no cowards depicted in this film, just young men suffering and perishing. I saw this movie in a small art house theatre in N.Y.C. and everyone who saw it walked out in a silent gloom. It is an exellent film, but hard to watch. Was this review helpful? Backwards the party is spelled izan. Sorry for the editorial difficulty. The party is what the movie is about. MSN is as guilty of socialist action as this party. This word is NEEDED to describe the film. The word only has power if given power. Censoring it gives it negative power. This is facism at it's worst.

Sorry readers, Was this review helpful?
