Not related to commic books at all but an action thriller that will blow your minds. The thing that bugs me is Toby Micguire. When he sees Kristen Dunst he talks softly and smiles like a frog. He is a lot better in the third!!! This movie otherwise is worth seeing!!!!

Duh, this movie was awsome. I dont know why, but why does Marvel based comics (spider-man 1,2, fantastic 4, and x-men) movies always get the costumes right! I mean look at bat-man he looks like a weak dude in side a plastic suit of armor that makes it look like he has a six pack, very cheap. Its almost as bad as the old bat-man movies costumes. Just like superman, look at his costume, they didnt even get the blue color right, let alone his S logo is way to small, it looks fake, like hes wearing playdoh. All dc movies focus on is getting the guy with the most muscle to play them, and dont spend any money on costumes, please try harder. I give spider-man a 4 out of 5 because it was slow in the begining, but the costume, makes up for it

People have been e-mailing me about the melted ice cream in the back office, and I am tired of hearing about it. So would someone PLEASE turn the damn freezer on?
Ok, I have told many people many things, and writing a lot of stuff. But I am here to say; I am not from around here. I come from a place where the ass is like peaches and cream in a soft pallet of grass. In the tired eyes of science, I boggled the thought of a rise against the machines. The ones who took the temple of doom. I can no longer speak in a nebbish way. Execrable and I. Within the confines of another the heart wrenches the art of apples. Falling from above the eve of the beholder. What? Ok, milk, no cream. Would you like that Venti? I hope so. The days of our lives are on at the top the hill of death. Mountain Dew is a funny color, and I like to eat eggs. I thank everyone for his or her time, and hope that all peace of spinach can result in the rains of the storm. Watch the blinds.
Soul Pole.
Am I the only one who thinks the "love scenes" (which I prefer to call the "barf scenes") were as cheesy as Wisconsin central? Besides that though, it was thrilling, action packed, the plot was always moving, creative, relative, and exciting. I never read the comics, which may or may not give me the right to claim Spiderman a 5 star movie, but if nothing else take my advice and see it, and the sequel, yourself.

Spiderman actually having human emotions? What a concept! Very tasteful and better yet meaningful. The idea that Spiderman really does love and wants to learn, makes sense...he has a human brain, but he also has a gift, as well as somewhat of an obligation, and this is well established. The content, all in all, attracts audiences both young and small, and most certainly gives all viewers a thrill, and even a laugh every now and again. They say that sequels are never up to the originals potential, I highly disagree. Impressive!

Spiderman 2 was everything the first was and wasn't. The first movie was pushed down by the slow and almost boring entrance into the characters. This film isn't. In the first film, the fight scenes between Spidey and our Green Goblin seemed limited and tiresome at times; at least, after watching it again and again. Forming the second movie, we don't need to be reintroduced to Peter Parker, Mary Jane, or the others. Instead, we just have to show their progression as different characters. Harry being in control of Oscorp, Peter's firing from the pizza place and slow work taking poor pictures for the Bugle, and M.J.'s dating of JJ's son the astronaut are just some of these transitions which show us that these could be real people. The fight scenes between the well acted and well effected Doc Ock and Spiderman seemed better. They weren't tiresome and didn't leave you asking why it couldn't have been longer.
As other reviews have stated, the movie did leave us open to have the Green Goblin return; perhaps as Harry Osborne. But, as a fan of the comics and the show, I must also point out the one-armed professor (turns into the lizard), and the introduction of JJ's son, the astronaut, who is taken over by the symbiotic venom.
As good as Spiderman 2 is, a third one is bound to come out. I just hope that whatever villain they do go with, even if it's another rendition of the Goblin (Green, Hobgoblin, whatever), that the acting, fight scenes, and effects will be just as good as this movie's. And please - don't pull a batman. The first two were good, the third okay, the fourth blew the whole series away with its awfulness.
