I don't get why people think of this movie as trash. It's very funny. All South park does is take an issue and take it to the extreme so people notice it for what it really is and it's not offensive to God or Jesus. Was this review helpful? Normally I hate musicals, but this one was excellent. Go see it an hide it for your kids! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 4/18/2005A review of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut by C_and_C_Karaoke Trey Parker and Matt Stone take the hilarious South Park television characters to new highs (and Hellish lows) in what just may be the funniest feature length cartoon ever, and mix in some of the most original musical moments you will ever see or hear. (One song was actually nominated for an Oscar award!)
Terrence and Philip, the kids' comic heroes, make a movie that features some of the most creative curse-word combinations I have ever heard. In the tradition of the South Park t.v. program, Parker and Stone take this very simple premise and use it as a catalyst to a story line that includes impending war between the United States and Canada.
Kenny's trip to hell (sorry, he dies again) reveals things that we never knew about Satan and Saddam Hussein. Stan's quest to recapture Wendy's love, and Cartman's inability to say the swear words he uses so creatively all combine with Parker and Stone's outrageous flair for the absurd to make Bigger, Longer & Uncut one of the most hilarious movies of all time.l Was this review helpful? The Point of the movie was to satire America's love of blaming others; instead of parents being blamed for not paying attention their kids when columbine happened, they blamed violent video games and the media. When Mortal Kombat debuted in arcades, Joe Liberman Blamed it for the rise of violence in our country. America has a tendency to blame others for its own problems, and that is what this movie is actually making fun of. in my expert opinion (over 1000 movies) South Park Bigger, Longer, And Uncut should go down in history as one of the great movies of our time, but people who say it was a vulgar waste keep it from that because simply put: they don't get it. I think that if we were to veiw the movie more deeply than crude toilet humor, we could actually see what its really about, America, and all of us Was this review helpful? You would think that it would be crude after watching the show, which I love, but it's not! This moie has a great lesson and I just love Stan's search for the "cleteris". Me and my friend still get a kick out of the dieing giraff thing! For anyone with a strong stomach and a hate for G.W. Bush watch this movie! Was this review helpful? For example, its making fun of canadians. Well i would have to disagree.. i think more of it making fun of americans. If youve seen it.. watch it again.. thinking about it making fun of americans.
