I rate it in the same class as Car Wash which is a classic. If you have heard stories about what happened to young artists who started out in the 50s and 60s you will love it. Isaac Hayes was good in the movie too. But i thought he was going to sing which wouldve been great. He will also be missed. I give it 2 hands up instead of my thumbs! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  DisappointedFirst I want to say I really love The Mac Man and Mr. Jackson. It appeared they were phoning it in. Maybe illness on Bernie's part, not sure. But it was a different performance for his calliber. I understand the concept of the movie, but it just didn't land with me. It was like it was trying to be a "black-Blues Brothers". Issac (another favorite) appeared to be hiding behind those glasses. It seemed he was having a difficult time walking and seeing, fo9rm what I noticed in his brief appearance. However, I'm still a But I'm still crazy about the Mac Man. Rest your Soul Bernie. Was this review helpful?
