Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve have a chemistry in this movie that make you long for the love they shared, albeit too short lived. You will let yourself into the period and enjoy the music score surrounding this beautiful love story. I had to order this movie on VHS and it was worth the wait. I now will order the DVD since the original tape is wearing thin. I recommend Somewhere in Time to any age group. Was this review helpful? The story line is a positive one which normally you would not see today. The acting was great and a treasured movie before Christopher Reeve's accident. It's in my point of view one of Jane Seymour's best performances. My favorite scene was when they're having a picnic on the floor before Richard finds the penny in his pocket (that scene was done on the same day that Chris found out he was going to be a dad!) I also like the scene where Jane says ";Is it you?"; and mentioned how on the first time she said it, it sounded like ";Isachu?"; lol! I am a teenager and I recommend it to younger people too! I felt as if I was right there feeling what they felt. It makes me wish I could travel back into that time. I saw it the first time in the early 80's and to me it was the best movie I've ever seen. The part I liked the least was the ending where he could not get back to her. But at least he did have some time with her. A beautiful love story. Never got to see it again, but will definitely order it now that I found it again! I do want my children to see this movie! Was this review helpful? I always felt that I was born in the wrong time period. I love the fashion of this time period. Life back then was romantic and definately stress free.
