Cool movie. The only 'downer' - the acting and aura about Stewart. Her pouting emotionless presence is depressing. The classic ending featuring her with Charlize Theron is like watching the Tortoise and the Hare in a race - without the intended metaphor. Theron is fantastic, while Stewart is boring - at best. For purely entertainment sake, the wrong one died!

After seeing this movie, I was surprised to find that Kristen Stewart did a good job in her role and the film was entertaining and I was never bored.

Please do us all a favor and replace this mouth-breathing, sour-faced, under-talented, over-toothed creature. She has no warmth of character (perhaps playing the half-dead/undead for too long) and lends nothing original nor interesting to her role as Snow White(or any other role as far as I can see). Perhaps she held interest as half of the "Twilight" serie lead team, , but for those of us who go to the movies to be entertained that facet of the hollywood hoo ha never plays a part in whether I buy a ticket to a film or not. Her performance drug down every other performance whether it was the fierceness of the hero or the vileness of the villain. It was sad to see her drain the energy from every other actor. Please replace her for any sequel and let her live happpily ever after somewhere else.

This movie was better than I expected. I'm not sure why some professional reviewer is so thrilled with the dwarves in this movie. I couldn't hear half of what they were saying and the movie just kinda stops so I guess it's open ended for a sequel. But, there was real acting in this movie. Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, and Kristin Stewart did a fantastic job.

You've seen this movie a hundred times with very slightly modified story lines. You'll find yourself sneaking looks at your cell phone to see what time it is and how close to over the movie is. When the mirror (mirror mirror on the wall, etc.) answered Snow White with Darth Vader's voice I laughed out loud in the theator and there were a few twitters around me. Charlize Theron did a good job but she couldn't carry this pant load of a movie by herself.

Great movie. Action, romance, fantasy....something for everyone. Theron was brilliant. This is a must see, best movie I've seen in months.

Not your usual Snow White story. Even men will like this one.

An excellent remake of an old fairy tale. The writers and directors definitely outdid themselves. I will definitely be adding the video to my personal collection.

I'm not really sure what form of "bath salts" you have to smoke to enjoy this movie, but they should give them out when you buy your tickets. This "movie" and I use the term loosely, took two hours from me and my loved ones that we can never get back. The forty-five minute build up for something "trailer-like" to happen was almost as excruciating as the ever stinging thought that there were other better movies playing to my right and left in other sections of the theater. I have seen quite a few reviews that have labeled this an epic picture, and I will fault no one for typing their opinion under the influence of heroin. I can bring myself to call this an epic as long as I follow epic with an immediate well placed "fail" on the end of it. If this film qualifies as an epic then Robin Hood Men in Tights should have cleaned up at the Oscars. The mediocre scenery paired nicely with this "film's" inability to draw us into the story. It was clearly apparent that very little effort went into the actual film, but kudos definitely go to the marketing team for invoking their inner used-car salesman and getting us to buy this lemon. As far as the retelling of stories is concerned, this movie should serve as a cautionary tale of what to not do. Bottom line...this movie @&*$ed, this is to movies what the Titanic was to luxury ships. Simply put save your money and don't see this film. If this was on an illegally bootlegged DVD I would have still gone to the police and filed a complaint saying that I had been ripped off. I've had more epic experiences in a Porta-Potty following bad chili at a ball game. Snow White and the Huntsman..... half a star out of five.

I loved the costumes and special effects. I was disappointed at the ending. There was no happily ever after..............................

This is not your child's Snow White. There is graphic violence that adults will recognize as allegorical, but is propbably too graphic for children younger than highschool. The photography is beautiful, with a lot of attention to color and design. The pace and story-telling are top-notch. The acting is more than adequate.. Snow White is part traditional Snow White, part Joan of Arc. There is just enough of humor and oddities to keep the tale from getting dull. This could well be a classic that people will be watching years from now.

I think these folks leaving the low star ratings are looking for Star Wars and Avengers type super hero movies. This is not that. It is a GREAT interpretation of Snow White by an excellent new director. Charlize Theron is soooo evil! Chris Hemsworth is an awesome Huntsman. The dwarfs are cool, as is everyone else in the cast. The cinematography is fantastic. Many of the shots will stay burned in your mind. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. But the movie belongs to Kristin Stewart's shy, vulnerable, determined Snow White. No, she doesn't turn into a super hero. She is Snow White and she plays it absolutely PERFECT!!! The men follow her because she is the Princess who will be the Queen that saves them from the diabolical Ravenna, not because she is some macho leader. It is her vulnerability that is her strength. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. It is nothing short of AMAZING>

So So at best. I liked the spin off idea and the basics of the story. I miss the romance in the story. The happy ever after. Beautiful scenes, wonderful evil queen. Snow white was so korny at times. Huntsman was gorgous...well played but previously married? I don't get the thoughts on that one. I also don't get the point of William in the story. Could have been better. Left me wanting.
