I think all the actors put in really good performances. Tom Welling is perfect in the part (If they continue to make more superman movies I think he should play the part of Superman). There is only one thing a little annoying and one thing a lot annoying, that is there was a little two much of Lana and Clark doing the lovey dovey thing. It was fine for a while because we all know Lana and Clark were an item when they lived in Smallville, but I think the writers just carried it a little to far. Anyway we also know that Clark finally ends up with lois. What is a lot more annoying is there are to many commericals, it's seems there is only 7 minutes of show for every 10 mins of commericals, I hope season eight will have a lot less of them. I can't wait for season eight to start next month. If you want to watch a well made TV show you can't miss this one. Was this review helpful? This is a show that I hate to miss, I've been a fan since the start of it. The show is fun because every week there is a new challenge for Clark Kent, and it is so cool to watch him evolving into Superman, he does not have all his powers all at once they come one at time it seems, heat vision, xray vision, and so on. This show is fantasy all the way and that makes it fun. The have the coolest music and some great stunts. And if you like seeing a hero save the day like I do you, then watch Smallville.<br> Was this review helpful? I am a little disapointed this season with a few plot repetitions and the whole lana/clark thing starting to get a bit muddled and confusing but other that that its a great show and i hope they keep up the good work..(Congratulations to Michael Rosenbaum. Sign In 2 out of 3 users found this helpful smallvillePosted: 4/1/2003A review of Smallville [TV Series] by podog3 Finally a version of Superboy made to todays standards and the plot moves on to what we all know will not be. butttttt this at least gives it a twist, it shows what may have or could have happened and how it lead up to it. Ofcourse thats what makes it intresting and shows that even superman as a kid had a fling. Lex is great and we all know he turns to evil, but how and in what way its shown, you feel sorry for the guy for all the bad breaks he gets as a rich kid. (wonder if thats what really happens in life). Again the cast is great. Lana a cutey.when it first aired I was excited to see the series in a more modern version and comparable to other top shows of this kind. I can't wait to see it out in dvd version. I hardly watch television at all but I will conquer rain, sleet, hail and snow to get to my ";Smallville";. Tuesday has never been this exciting. All of the episodes are GREAT butI will admit one of my favorites is when Clark is the ";bad guy";. The bar scene was very believable and well delivered. I LOVE the show! I can't wait each week to become transfixed to the tube for at least 60 minutes! I love that Clark! He is my secret crush!!! (Don't tell my husband) The directors and writers do a superb job each week creating and making it a little more mysterious for the viewers. The whole Clark/Lana thing sometimes gets a little worn but all in all it is a tremendously great show! Lana plays the ultimate ";good girl"; but I like Chloe because she is so much more ";the real girl";-people can relate to her because she's got issues. Of course Lex gets played down a little in my opinion especially when it comes to his father. Most episodes he's a little bit of a ";wuss"; when he and Lionel get in to it face to face.
