I am 14 and I hardley ever go to church, and this movie made me want to go. Lauryn Hill's awesome talent blew me away, and Tanya Blount has great potential also! Was this review helpful? I'm a teenager and I though this one was better than the first. It reached out more to people of all ages. It was more appealing with the cool music and great singers that were teens. You know I always think that the first movies are always better then the sequals but in this case it is just as good . Whoopie as usual is as funny as ever. But the music is outstanding. Some of the best young talent of the time. I personally was blown away by Lauren Hill.
