Every scene in the movie has someone smoking. But honestly, this movie was very depressing and bleak! Though I will say, Maggie put on a hell of a performance. She was very convincing as this woman who just hits roadblock after roadblock in life. If you want a cheerful, happy movie , dont see this one! Was this review helpful? She makes the movie...I had no idea she had it in her. In fact, I dont remember ever watching her in another movie, and I only knew her as Jakes sister. I really hope she is nominated for an Oscar for this role. Brilliantly played!! If you want to see a fantastic performance that makes a whole movie...this is the one to watch!!
